.....I remember when people actually commented on the rls.

Video - 7
Audio - 8
Movie - 9

.....I too appreciate the SVCD option...

Movie was actually a lot better than i thout it would be but it should not be considered a proper by all means. MaVeN rls was way better but this is still good for people that are lazy enough to get divx players or xbmc .

Decided to upload a picture since i havent seen a sample, you guys can use it if you like.

6/7/8

Very decently done. SVCD is kinda dead tho, so apart from being a nice option to the people who still find themselves living in 2004 or are to cheap (:P) to buy 35euros worth of standalone xvid-capable dvdplayer, it has no actual added value for me personally, so i didnt download the whole thing, and have to admit to rate a release for the first time not based on the complete release, but just on several rars

V - 7
A - 7
M - 3

I underrated the movie itself for a few reasons :
a) The disney message in the movie is way too strong. It's like the n-th disney movie where the troubled sportscoach comes on top with his team in the end, or the n-th variation on the typical movie in which a horse, which should have been chopped up into dogfood, wins the final race and they all lived happily ever after. Man... this is predictable.
b) Altho technically it's superbly done ofcourse by Pixar (something everybody expects without a doubt), it somehow can't even come come close to Pixar's previous works. It has a real clinical feel about it, like it was made without emotion at all, but just to keep their huge render-factory running. True.. their rendering-engine surpasses any other, but I kinda expected all the scenes to ooze the fact that it was thought of with lotsa fun while creating them and with the animators heart in it. Like The Incredibles definately shows. A letdown imo.

So.. altho it isnt a punishment to sit thru this one, it should have been better. Way better.
I refuse to believe that it was their intention to have the main feature outdone by their own short "One Man Band". As far as it goes for an original storyline and overall viewing-pleasure, they pulled it off tho as far as I'm concerned.

edit : minus typos

A great release

7/8/9

I thought this was a great release. The movie itself is amazing. Even if you're not a huge fan of family movies, this is worth seeing and buying on DVD once it's released. The video on this release looks great on my 36" LCD (you have to turn down the brightness a bit). Very watchable and the audio is fine and very tolerable throughout the entire movie.

Much praise comes for the person that recorded this release. I for one would like to thank them. It will be hard to top this one. The next best thing to watching it in the cinema.

Though I have a divx player, SVCD is always a welcome option. I hate all of these groups being shot down for "this or that". This is a steady shot without over-cropping and with decent audio. I enjoyed every bit of this release with no complaints. I watched it at the cinema and watched this release on my home theater. Two thumbs up for this release.
