Geekin for some Zelda

I wanna play the new Zelda game, Twilight Princess but can't afford a Wii nor can I get one anytime soon. My question is do I wait and get a wii and then get Zelda which will cost me $300 total before taxes or do I get Zelda and a gamecube which I can get both for around $100 or I can sell my ps2 and then get gamecube and it won't cost me anything at that point.


My question is should I wait for the wii or get the gamecube?

Only if Gof of War 2 wasn't coming out on the ps2 would I get rid of my ps2. I have to get God of War 2 when it comes out, I'm geekin for that game just as much as I am zelda. So i guess I will have to buy it, Which should I do?

PS3 is current laughing stock of gaming world. Cross-platform games which run pitifully and a library of exclusives which are slowly becoming less and less exclusive (Virtua Fighter 5 on 360 for example)

I'd vote for stumping up the cash for a Wii, I'm playing Zelda and whilst I imagine it works perfectly well on a Gamecube and will look IDENTICAL (the Wii version is basically a port from the gc build) the controls make it oh so much more fun,

I was planning on getting a ps3 but I spent way too much on christmas. But my vote is for that and a Wii.

i love my wii, zelda is very fun as far as i have seen, right now my dads constantly playing it so i play cod3 whenever i get a chance (while the old fucker sleeps), and its great
