Iron Man. WoW!

Robert Downey Jr. is excellent as Iron Man. It's as if he was born to play Tony Starks. The movie is has lots of humor, wit, and of course kick ass special effects and action. Certainly, one of the better movies of the year so far. In my book, it ranks up there with Batman Begins as one of the best comic book movies of all time. An excellent movie!

just watched the proper and with the visuals watered down it became apparent the movie was weak on dialogue and story. Robert Downy Jr. playing a jerk-off is old hat yet they spend most of the movie trying to prove what we already knew about him. Every person in the story plays a dreadfully predictable static character, including Jr. imo who is no less of a pompous egomaniac in the beginning than he was at the end.

In this genre I enjoyed batman begins considerably more.

Must see movie. Downey Jr. great job, with Bridges and Paltrow giving stellar performances. Lots of humor. Special effects as they should be for this type of movie. Got 8.4 on IMDb and is now #99 on their list of 250 best movies. Rotten Tomatoes gave it an almost unheard of 94%.

You are obviously not a fan of the comic book so keep quiet. It has to start some how and I like most people who seen the movie at the theater, think it was very good.

Well, in a introduction story, every character can't be fleshed out 100%. Did I want to see the charcter of Jim Rhodes fleshed out a little bit more? Sure, yet overall, this movie was done very well. Marvel took a superhero character, which isn't 100% known to the mass people and have now made it a franchise. Other than the devoted diehard comic fan, how many people actually know who Iron Man is? I would fare to say, not that many. Nevertheless, Iron Man is making money back in a big way and will be back in additional sequels. Although, I love Batman Begins, Christian Bale as The Bat, I have found Tony Starks/Iron Man as a refreshing change of pace.

One other thing. Why are you watching a shitty ass cam of this movie? This movie was meant to be seen on the big screen in all it's glory. Not a shitty ass, murky video camera job.

caught it in theaters last weekend, and REALLY enjoyed it. It was a blast all the way through, Robert Downey nailed it. Without him I probably wouldnt have liked it nearly as much.

Visually it was stunning but not OVER THE FUCKING TOP INSANE *cough*Spiderman3*cough*

I went only because some friends dragged me as after the first few teasers I had already made up my mind that it was going to be shit. I was happy to be proven very wrong.

Guys I suppose you know but this was released by BestDivx? It doesn't seem to be listed on vcdq though. The only drawback is the few occasions German subs show up. Besides that everything is excellent. Great film by the way.
