encoding software is the equivalent of The 404 going on a diet and walking thru the door. takes longer and sometimes more skill, but ultimately worth it.
Very nice rip, no probs as yet.

Video and Audio brilliant.
Great release!
9/9/6
Decent quality although the movie is aimed at kids (unlike many other CGI movies that have jokes for adults too). Overall, very watchable if you're three years old

I have the same problem, once converted the audio is about 2 seconds out
but i am still trying!

out of sync
well, i'm getting tired of trying to convert it to dvd so, if you guys can do it, just tell me how...
Alas, it is out of sync for me too. About 2 seconds ahead. Some players however seems to be ok with it, but not my stand alone.
If anyone has a fix for it, I would appreciate it. If I touch it with vdub it just gets worse
I managed to do it finally
... Tmpgenc encoder.. make sure u have the xvid codec installed (search on google)
Then convert to dvd and select source range...set start to about frame 250 and then the audio gap correct to 1500ms i think
It worked for me, but the trick is to keep trying different audio gap correct values (abort encoding after a few minutes to check if its in sync else you will be at it for days!)
Ps. make sure you set the aspect ratio!
(16:9 source aspect ratio and video arrange method as keep aspect ratio - full screen)
Hope this helps

Bleh, if I wanted a dvdr I'd just download the dvdr!
Need to fix the xvid..

to fix the out of sync problem when converting to dvd using dvd santa under audio delay put 995 milliseconds that will fix it
Oh hey, mplayer plays it ok, and indeed, mencoder will convert it to xvid (again) and it is no longer out of sync in standalone.
Thanks for unix tools.
