pho (pronounced 'fa' (so that pho ly would actually be pronounced something like 'folly')) is a Vietnamese beef noodle soup. Though there are versions made with chicken and pork.

I'm waiting for a noodle house to open here (we have 15 or more) calle Pho Pho Away. (bad pun, but it would be funny)

and as I understand it, pjeer is indeed fear, as noted above.
