Is there any room for him in the next Xmen movie? Probably not but who knows.

i hope he does get in it cos it`ll make ahim a popular actor again and he`ll get some decent films to make. he needs to do an american film, instead of these shoddy "ringo lam" films. i love his stuf though, so will be buying "the shu" or "hell" even if its is a cross between a bruce lee film and death warrant

He could be a new mutant called The Faker. He could overhelm his opponents by actually making them think he knows Kung Fu. When in actualality he knows only 3 moves. The round house kick, the high kick and that little arm flench he does. I'm no Van Damme fan either. Just posting an interview where he wants to be an Xmen. He's a washed up actor that can't do real movies anymore. If I want to watch old action starts. I'll watch Arnold and Stallone. And this may sound dumb and it would never happen. But how about Stallone as Juggernaut.

I have always had Van Damme in mind to play Gambit. He looks the part. He can definately pull off any stunts or impressive martial arts moves that the role demands. My only problem with him is the way he delivers his lines. That Belgian accent is horrible! Not as bad as Jackie Chan's, but still...

Well if van damme is in X3 they should kill him off very quickly just like Steven Segal was killed off in executive desicion. Oh that was great. I even made a T-shirt of Segal flying out of the plane, oh it was fabulous.
