Audio sucks a big one on this and the video isn't the best. I really hope a better copy comes out.

6/6/8 (movie was pretty good)

sample is dark as hell... even when its light outside it looks dark as hell. audio doesnt seem bad but hollowish... and yet again another attempt at this movie...But im sure you could plop a kid down and theyd be content either which way.

audio and sound are bad. other versions are much better

OMG, proper my anus! Video is dark, dull (can we say brown poo tint) and blurry (chill with the extreme noise reduction).. although it has less of an angle than MaTiNE's it seems more squished than that release. Sound is just HORRIBLE, it doesn't have those ringing bells like MaTiNE's and it's not hollow or anything like that but it's very muffled, raspy, overnormalized, static-ky and has a loud hiss. My ears couldn't even stand the 1 minute sample so I can't imagine listening through the entire movie. VideoCD should stop using silvers as a source for SVCD TS, none of their quality has been consistent. Sorry but this just doesn't cut the cake, 4/2/5

Posted by GeNeTiX on 08-04-2003 12:22 AM:

no way is this any better than matine's
video is crap, no colour, blurry, not worthy of SVCD, thats for sure
sound is like speakers when they're turned up way to loud and are cracking.
NO DING DING DING tho
4/4/x need a decent version!

3d glasses don't appear to work with this release. don't know if anyone else found that. Quality is a bit shit.

-> because the colors are messed up

terrible release... definatly not a proper!

I think everyone is over reacting, the video on this release isnt that bad at all but the audio sucks, for one its definately NO telesync but a cam, that kind of crappy audio cant be direct.. That should have behaved like men and internal it 7/5/?

Posted by JiggaLigga on 08-04-2003 05:22 AM:

Hmmm, sounds like the sound is being recorded from a wireless headset with a microphone up in projection room. What do i know? Not the best direct sound, but ya the video is a tad blurry. Might have to do with the way the movie was projected, and misuse of filters in vdub. Other then that, the video quality IS better then the matine release, matine release was too zoomed in. Rather rough for groups that have to worry about racing releases, this definetly didn't come from a silver source though. Usually silver source comes from group releases first anyways.

My rate is as follows . . .

7/5/5

that is becuase the sample is from the beginning of the movie. The 3D glasses don't work for the first 15 minutes of the movies, until they actually enter the game.

Proper? Jesus........

4/2/x

Posted by Klonin on 08-04-2003 05:08 PM:

Proper

Yes it is a proper just for the fact that the sound doesn't have dings and pings through out the movie.....After burning BINs it doesnt play in a stand alone. Looks like it is NTSC that was burned as PAL....After extracting mpegs and using vcdimager to remake bins it burns and works.

Video is better than other releases, 7 (glasses do work)
Audio - is loud but no extra pings - 6
Flix - Stupid as ^%$ but kids like it - 5

If there is a better way to fix post away......

You must have been smoking the same crack VideoCd was when tey decided o release this trash. Yes matine's pings and dings did kinda of suck and i whish they did release it with fixed audio, but this release was not needed at all. Stick with Matine's version.

Video is dark, blurry , dull , and colors have smurg to them.
Audio is not great but not bad, kinda staic feeling to it.
Movie pretty good for kids.

4/6/8

Posted by RUiNU on 08-05-2003 07:10 AM:

Sound is slightly better (from samples of this and matine's) video is blury as hell , this is ws matine's is fs . I am d/l matine's it is half the size and I realy dont think I will watch this more then once
5/6/?

Posted by lickmyzack on 08-06-2003 01:59 PM:

this release is not as bad as everyone is posting from the jpeg samples.. after watching it with some 3-D glasses from McDonalds the pic is a bit dark and the colors are a bit off (you'll need to do a little of adjusting on your TV's color settings) The glasses do show some of the 3-D effects.. however I didn't expect for much from that aspect of it, the audio is far better than the other releases i've grabbed since there are no bells ringing in this one.

Definetly watchable with the kiddies... just make sure to hit up Mickey D's for some 3-D specs... cause it looks blurry as hell in some parts without them.
