that is what samples are for. i mean, its amazing, i havent wasted one cd on a released version yet....

if you want to see this, see it in the theater first. the special effects that drive this movie just wont be done justice by any TS short of og centropy.

Posted by diekund on 05-31-2004 09:45 PM:

video is very good along with amazing audio aswel, the nuke said stretched but fawk them. videocd are actually raping the scene just now

movie is good but the computer graphics in it are amazing, 10/10 to wholmever was on the team for being an uber nerd

Posted by Unset on 06-06-2004 06:32 PM:

8/8.5/? judged from sample
release was nuked 'cause cd1 freezes (get the repack) and was missing ending.

Posted by The CandyMan on 06-06-2004 08:46 PM:

Nuked? Hmm, well I watched this last night, and though it wasn't quite up to VideoCD latest releases qualty-wise, still a kick-ass release, good video, and great audio, which to me, makes or breaks a telesysnc.

7/9/4-So much enviromental wacko bullshit, I had to watch it before dinner so I wouldn't hurl my meal!

I downloaded the original videocd package with the bad header on cd1. I did a simplemultiplex using tmpgenc which worked fine on my pc but it stopped at 26:39 on my xbox. I cut out the 2-3 seconds of corrupted video from cd1 at 26:39 (using tmpgenc again) and it works fine. Not seen the repack but it probably needs the same data cut out for certain dvdplayers/XBMC

I just watched this and I was impressed. I got no freeze on any scene but I downloaded the proper of cd1 anyhow. On a flick like this, how can videocd not recognize the fact that there is no ending on it? Gotta scratch my head on that one.............

what happens at the end? After the President made his speech and the helicopters were flying into NY.

It kind of just..stopped. :/

Posted by demon4870 on 06-10-2004 03:25 PM:

Mine was about 3-4 seconds off (audio in front of the Video) once the twisters hit LA and I had to wait until cd2.

Posted by pjfan281 on 06-10-2004 07:45 PM:

i was very pissed to find videocd blatantly lied in their nfo saying "we cut it as the camera pans the earth before credits" blah blah they cut out about two minutes, including dialogue as well as footage! very very bad. grab tun version

Posted by dvdhouse111 on 06-10-2004 08:48 PM:

i saw this in flix so the missing 3 1/2 mins or so didnt bother me. Looks great on standalone player and 44" screen and the audio is well sweet

7/9/7
