Talking

just seen sample. nice and clear pic.
bits/frame is quite usual 0.259
video - 9

Finally....

8.5/8/6

Damn weird movie. There were no CD1 sync problems here.. BUT I was not able to play it properly wiith windows media player though - there was no vocals at all! All the background sound was there, but no voices or anything.

VLC worked fine.. weird.

I find that CD ONE's sound is out of synch. CD TWO is perfect. Anyone else find this to be true?

Great rip, nice to see you back Brutus.

Video - lovely picture. Clear, no pixellation.

Sound - as said above is AC3 codec, really makes a difference

Movie - heard bad things, let down over Oceans 11 but will see myself tonight........

10/10/*

Not really.. appears to be a superb rip to me. Maybe u are using an older codec or something ?

Dunno.. seems spot on both cd's. Wouldn't expect BRUTUS to fuck up either.. always quality and big titles.

Doesn't mean the movie is any good tho hehe

9/9/4

Here's the deal. CD 1 is out of synch with audio. CD 2 is perfect. So it's not a codec issue (unless CD 1 and 2 use different codecs...which I doubt). Not an AC3 issue...b/c I have that codec and I hear the audio fine. Not a player issue...I've tried several.

Nobody else notices the synch issue on CD 1?

If not...guess I'll stick to the SVCD version

Not that there'd be any watermarks or blacknwhite scenes in a dvdrip

How about in dvdscreener dvdrips ?

Not that this is the case with this retail rip

Note to beefer : guess you are the only one, noone else has the cd1 out of synch I know off.

One more with synch problems in cd1. It should be easily solved, but I was wondering why only a few have this problem... That's at least strange...

Posted by aeropeek on 03-09-2005 12:07 PM:

yeah i have noticed the delay on CD1 also..

at first CD2 seemed to have also a delay, but after a few seconds i realized that there is no delay on CD2...

i'll try to play CD1 on another machine... if there is still a delay i will check out the codecs...

Posted by Diablo_TM on 03-12-2005 05:59 PM:

is anyone else having a problem with this release? ive tried several times and i cant seem to get it playing...is there any particular player or codec i need? ive tried several xvid codecs and players and nothign will get it to play....

Posted by chiv on 03-13-2005 01:35 AM:

everyone has the sync problem, its just that most dont care about it so they dont notice it. its not the codecs, brutus just f**ked up cuz they dont check their stuff before they release (they never have)

just get the migrane sync fix, or do it urself with nandub.

Posted by Styrus on 03-13-2005 11:09 AM:

Yeah it isn't out of sync so bad that u can't watch it, it is watchable.

Posted by cinogen on 03-18-2005 03:43 PM:

finally they got the sync fixed - i didnt get how so few ppl noticed that ..
