Everything works great, except theres like a 10 second delay where the FBI Warning usually goes. Other then that it's perfect. Nice untouched video too.

Is this a TOS violation? But When I assembled this dvd it said -dvdr

Do I rename the file before burning or what?

Noob ?, I know, but sometimes a bit of clrification helps.

For those who haven't grabbed the disc let me first say you're welcome. Reason why I say this is because the disc is pretty much unplayable, I had to hit menu twice for it to jump to the movie and on another dvd player it won't even startup. Verification enabled with ImgBurn on my Plextor 716A, both successful. So the burn isn't the problem but rather the structure of the disc itself. I suggest waiting on a fix or patch to be released shortly.

Time for you to upgrade!
I used Pioneer 109 DVD burner and Taiyo Yuden DVD R Media without problems

My copy never froze.... My copy played without skipping... My copy played when I hit "play"
/me shruggs.....

im having the same problem. crashes my standalone player on startup. unplayable disc..

Posted by ebd123 on 07-14-2006 08:10 AM:

I got a rar fix before burning it, so maybe that's why mine didn't crash. It took a little longer than usual to load the menu and then to play, but played fine. The quality was great. The movie was dumber than shit, but it's worth a few laughs.

Disc structure isnt clean... But it is very playable in all machines I tried it in (including my computer)... The disc does stall for a good 15 secs when hitting the play button on the menu...

Other then that, the DVDR's fine... Video is the best they could have done.. Movie is only about 1:35 long. Audio untouched...

I found the movie pretty awful... Honestly, I cant remember a laugh throughout the whole thing. I recommend this for retards and those who find rehashed jokes and gags funny.

yea i had no trouble playing this either on my standalones. (Sony & Oppo) you guys should spend a few bucks and a get decent dvd player. your players are too damn picky. time to retire your apex and cyberhome bargain players.

as for the movie...great audio and video as usual for XP. not quite what I expected for the film. was more of a kids movie. i was expecting some more good SNL style humor from a happy madison film, but it just wasn't there. not bad, but like i said, more geared towards kids.

All Sony DVD players by nature are picky, hit the nail on the head with the Cyberhome player though. Tried and tested on a Sony 5-disc dvd player, and Sony 975v which many should know doesn't come cheap. Point is the disc has issues, and I'm surprised no patch by XPDVD has been released yet. There is a patch out there but it isn't an official XPDVD release and the disc still has it's share of problems. Perhaps Replica will come through but honestly this movie isn't worth a DVD.

Worked just fine on my players. Everyone of them. Get something besides and Apex or Cyberhome and it will work fine. With or without patch.
