Well i was hoping that it had English audio as it is labeled R5, and not "R5 Line". But after checking it out, it does in fact have English audio. Speaking of the audio, it is direct and clear, but it has a low static hiss that remains constant. It doesn't interfere with the dialogue, but it is apparent if you turn your volume up.

Video is good. Very sharp and clear.

Movie is good. Hollywood has been impressing me lately...first 1408, now this. I wish it would become a trend, but i won't hold my breath.

Yes, it's missing the entire scene where Demi Moore 'interrogates' Dane Cook in the parking lot... and where she follows him there, too.

I don't understand how this can be missing that scene.... if this is an R5 from an actual dvd source then how the fuck can they 'pull out' those scenes? Maybe they had a mistake during the rip and then re-cut it later and just didn't put it together properly while in a rush to get it out? That's all I can think of. Hopefully the'll re-do it or somebody else will... because this is a good movie!

i think we need a repack of the repack @ approx 139mins it goes blocky till the end

Posted by T2U on 07-17-2007 03:35 AM:

yep..like a fool i watched this before reading the reviews here...big scene missing had trouble following the story for awhile afterwards..shoulda waited on the repack...oh well..as far as the quality goes its very good V-8.5,A-8.5,M-8 (but if u havent watched it yet get the repack)

Posted by newdad23 on 07-17-2007 04:37 AM:

Ok. not 100% sure but I think even the repack has some problems. At 1:39:00 ill the end the picture is very pixelated. I'm gonna wait on a PROPER REPACK. Haha this is getting fun..... Not!

If there wasn't such a sizable chunk of the movie missing it would have been perfect.
Unfortunately this is NOT the version to get.
Glad to see it nuked.

In the future I won't be so hasty grabbing a copy based on posts more concerned with being first than being accurate.
I'll wait a little and read more critical and comprehensive evaluations of releases from here on.
