Great release!!!

I much prefer 1cd than 2, personal comment......

Video 8, slightly pale colours...
Audio 9
Movie ... can not wait to watch it!!!

2 NeDiVx in less than an hour!!! You guys rule

reencode

not really good quality as considering DVDRIP, was better done 2CD

this is a REENCODE
1 - packet bitstream ON (not rellay good)
2 - GSPOT report
USER DATA/METADATA
[USER] Divx503b1393p

SHIT this is a prove that's not a dvdrip from dvd but from another release originally encoded on divx.... and this is not foirst time for that crew.

v = 4 (to ba a dvdrip)
a = 10 (offcourse)

Video is a bit dull to me, but it's still better then a TS. Audio is fine and overall it's a nice release, but not a great release. I grabbed the DIVX version and it appeared to be a better copy.

V-8
A-8.5
M-7

Not a lot wrong with this, 8/8/will watch at weekend

v-8
A touch dull but not alot, was otherwise impressed considering its 700mb. Watched on LCD and didnt see any visible pixelation or anything.

a-9
Seemed fine to me. All nice & in sync.

m-7
Not bad, a bit slow though. Had potential to be great but didnt fulfil that.

Posted by pisosse on 02-05-2008 02:51 PM:

It was out of sync on my kiss dp-558
I heard it was a standalone problem and neDivx haave had problems with that before.. any comment?

Posted by shadowsniper on 02-05-2008 04:57 PM:

No sync issues on my Toshiba standalone, strange.

Posted by bellcam on 02-05-2008 04:59 PM:

I corrected it with avimux and appears to be ok now

I have not checked out this release and I know I’m breaking rule #7 but I just have to correct some major errors in split710’s post.

1. Packed bitstream does actually improve seeking in many apps. There are however some standalone players that can’t handle packed bitstream correctly but you can easily "unpack" the bitstream in a couple of minutes with the freeware progam MPEG4 Modifier. Many of the big groups (e.g. DiAMOND, iMBT and FLAiTE) use PB on their rips.

2. [USER] Divx503b1393p does not mean that it is a re-encoded divx file! It is added by the xvid encoder to improve compatibility with certain divx players (proof: http://list.xvid.org/pipermail/xvid...ril/004973.html). Check any recent release by DiAMOND and you will find the same thing.

played perfectly on my philips dvp5140 as avi......retried in my supa old philips dvp642 and was in sync on it to.....gotta love philips--- as the box says "You got it we Play it" ---n e ways was a excellent movie and will score as watched on widescreen

V-8.5 2cd at higher bitrate would make this a 10
A-9 audio was just fine then again no special audio system here just the bigscreen speakers
M-9 Excellent

(Your Correct)---BUT problem is alot of standalone players choke on PB and i never have issues with diamond or flaite so not altogether sure if they use that.-----what i am sure of is i had in the past had to use a tool to fix the PB issue so my old dvp642 would play it.....as u said it was no big issue but most peeps don't want or need the headache...its easier to just make a release work for the majority of standalone players right ?

Here's a real review:

I just finally watched this. Movie was great. Performances were great. The end shot ---- took a stab at our country and President. Well, ok. Paul Haggis lives in a country where he can do that because of guys he made a film about. Ironic.

v8 (watched on 32 lcd from my pc)
a9 (no problems or sync issues at all! i did drink and still am so if it's out of sync i did NOT notice!!!)
m8 (a very good crime drama despite the 'out of character' last shot)

This is a nice release. Sure, better w/ a 2cd, but it's still nice and worth getting in my view.

uhm

nniu

you are right, i didn't know about this bug about that xvid version codec. I checked 10 release of diamond and are all without PB.

It's really stange that on P2P there was a dvdrip release coded on divx two days before... neDiVx is a official crew.

Posted by Kaiser Soze on 02-07-2008 05:51 PM:

v: 7 (probably as good as it gets for 1CD)
a: 7 (light background sound, sync ok)
m: will watch tonight

OK Rip. Have seen lot better. Soft picture. Sound problem free. Jones is one of the best. Great movie.

7.5/8/8.5
