innocent infringement defense by 16 year old to RIAA

At the age of 16 a girl uses Kazaa, RIAA goes after her. She admits that she was using p2p but says she didn't know it was wrong at the time.

the court says to RIAA that it needs to prove she knew what she was doing was wrong.

This can mean the difference between $200 fine or $15,000 fine PER SONG!

$15,000 seems perfectly reasonable. Don't forget that piracy causes global warming.

In the world of piracy there's no room for people who pirate "innocently" this bitch needs executing, then fining, then imprisoning.

Try a Disney one where you're also forced to sit through 10 mins of un-skippable adverts

BBC websites routinely block access to anyone outside the UK but why this should affect YouTube uploads I can't imagine?

The reason I wouldn't steal a car or a handbag is I wouldn't know how. I do know how to steal a movie. If I could steal anything else - and get away with it - I certainly would. I'd steal the ****ing Crown Jewels* if I only knew how!

*Any tips on this subject are more than welcome.

^Yeah, the way I avoid it is by not buying Disney DVDs any more. I'm not a compulsive pirate, I buy the stuff if it's going to get watched more than once but you try explaining to a 5 year old why you can't skip to the movie. It's not an issue with downloaded ones now is it?

At one point I even used to rip the originals so I could get rid of the adverts and other crud, but the fuckers are bursting with protection now, I can't be arsed.

So yeah, congratulations Disney, you're desperate (and forced) whoring of your straight-to-dvd "sequels" for all your classics is putting people off buying the shit. Bravo!

Sorry for going off-topic, it's a very emotive subject for me

Downloaded 1's are pre ripped, but there was 1 disney title with over 105 vob/ifo/bup files in directory and the programs at the time could only go up to 99, will think of title and get back to you (was within last 10 months though) think it was ripit4me in conjunction of dvd decrypter

Worse case just rip the movie only, and keep the 5yr old happy or when u get to 70 they throw you in the shed with a sheet rather than put you in a old folks home.

Plan ahead lol

Sorry for off topic but i'm a bit of a twat
