For the speed, this would have been almost acceptable as a low-quality *CAM*.

It's absolutely terrible for a TS though, and if the sound is as bad as people make it out to be, well, all I can say is better luck next time NEWFXP.

Take heed if members read this - if this was a CAM source you should label it that way. This just doesn't hold up to what people expect in a TS.

Oh my goodness, I wouldn't wanna see the sample of this. I can't really tell what the jpegs are of. what are they? Granted I do need glasses but not that damn bad. But anyway The movie itself is great. Don't waste your time downloading any telesync, cam, well put it this way anything that isn't a telecine, or dvd scr. The movie is to damn good for lousy copies. But hey i'm not complaining I don't contribute to the scene, i'm just a leech so I applaud anyone who does contribute to this scene. You know i'm talking all this shit about not downloading the cam job of this movie, but you know what i am gonna download at least one copy of it for sure. lol. so its all good. well I'm outta here.

Ok, I read the nfo out of interest. They contridict themselves. When they are telling what kinda input the film is, they say CAM+TS sound. And then at the bottom, it says "100% TS"....

78 Posts in like 30 minutes shit, as for the release I saw a french copy kicking round yesterday I'd rather try & learn french than watch this. Never ever ever have I seen such a poor copy, I'm off to the flicks so enjoy your release boys this is one for the big screen.

PS My first and only review based on the jpeg but jpeg's are forgiving making bad releases look better eg Reign of fire, Minority report(TC) but this looks horrendous so god only knows what it would look like on my dvd player

5 bucks the MPAA made this rls just to spit in our faces. the nfo is written by someone who doesn't seem to understand vcd's that well. CAM+TS Sound. wtf is that. the whole release is a TS. they said it like a CAM w/ an outside sound source was such a treat to us. it seemed like they were trying to pack as much limited knowledge of theirs as they could.

And the group name. NEWFXP. its like they did a lot of research on different terms affiliated with downloading and picked one to have in their name so that we'd recognize it. a little paranoid? yes, but i'd be happier to think that the mpaa did it to piss us off than to think that people actually put their wasted time and effort into releasing this.

...i'd rather eat my own shit.

Ok, I havnt seen the sample, just the jpg's, but I was wondering how they could possibly have messed up the picture so bad? The thing is, the colours look almost spot on in the jpgs, and usually the colour is one of the things that gets most messed up in cams from my experience. How can the colours look right but the picure be so awful?

Having frequented this forum for a long time to read peoples "reviews" of the many releases, this release made me feel the need to finally register. How could this be released looking so awful after the french release? Shouldnt the have just made an audio track and dubbed the french release as a kind of proper? OK so they wanted to be first with the english release, but I fear this new group may have damaged themselves irreperably with this release - they will prbably be remembered forever more as the group that released the god-awful version of TTT

Normally I think that people should follow the 'put up or shut up' rule when dealing with internet piracy, but when a group does something that bad, it deserves to be destroyed. It's sort of like when you hear about someone's ignorance that doesn't even affect you, but it kinda ticks you off just to know that there are people that stupid in the world. Also, their release makes the whole scene look bad, and not just bad, horrible. I'm like 90% confident my little middle school brother could figure out how to encode better than they do. I don't see what the argument here is from the people who can appreciatet his release.
I like to see deserving releases bashed if only for the fact it will dissuade them from releasing something unless it's of decent->great quality. I'm sure many of these guys expect the usual groveller to come and praise them regardless of how awful their quality is. I remember when I was a kid and I would stay up late at night and watch a movie like Jason and the Argonaughts and the station would be all fuzzy and shit but I still watched it because it was cool. We've all become spoiled with perfect quality rips and digital satellite or cable. When something crappy like this rls comes by we automatically flame it for the crap it is. The group obviously thought they would get a good 'ol pat on the back for being first... to bad we all don't live in the 60's or 70's anymore... Might have acceptable then... not now.

NEWFXP could have taken a little bit of time and encoded this release properly making it about 100 times better than what it is now. All they had to do was relax, sit back and use some filters. But could they do that? Hell no. They acted like virgins getting laid for the first time: they shot their load before they got it out of their pants. I opened my browser.. looked at the top of my favourites list.. click [www.VCDQUALiTY.com].. anxiously I waited for the page to load, I knew there was going to be a release soon.....

There it was, highlighted in a blue colour.... Lord Of The Rings: TTT

Then i saw the group release name.. NEWFXP.. this sounded bad, I gave them the benifit of the doubt. I looked at the JPEGs, I almost threw up, I gave them the benefit of the doubt again, thinking that the JPEG sample has been poorly taken (Like the first one of DAD DVD SCR was)..

I downloaded the sample....
Clicked.....
Waited....
And saw the utter shit that was the sample, I almost gasuged my eyes out...

So i downloaded TCF's release, and lived happily ever after...

You know... I think that we've all established this copy is shit. Everyone should be quiet now.

I saw the first few minutes of this cd, and just couldn't stand to watch any more, the quality was just too much in the toilet and the group knew when they released it, and should of said so, but they did want to make a name by being the first to release the big one for the year, instead it trashed their name...ooops, bet they didn't think that would happen
