Tarzan 2 *STV* - SCREENER - COBRA

Well i had to check this rls out

Video is definitelly from an nth gen tape, it's quite pixelated w/ some sorta tracking problems on the bottom (minimized since it is WS) but why not use a CROP!.. also wonder if you guys at cobra used a noise filter? They work wonders on cartoons. Audio is OK actually. Shame about the vid as I mighta watched this

5/7/?

i hope this is a 3rd gen copy if its not its very poor encoding a standalone dvd recorder would do better but thanx anyway good cartoon for my kids i didnt even know they had made it...... but if you need encoding done better you know how to contact me...

Kiddies checked this out yesterday... they were pleased.
Definetly a 2nd or 3rd generation VHS source... but once I cropped it to remove the scrolling 800 number and get rid of the tracking problem at the bottom it wasn't so bad.

Video 7
Audio 8
Movie... eh well the kids liked it enough for me and mommy to get it on in the bedroom while they were busy in the play room watching it so i'll give it an 8

Pretty average as a screener. I've seen better, but this is definately watchable and its free.

Why can't groups IVTC properly? They either fuck up the framerate like this one (it's as jerky as hell) or they blur the fields like, for example OBUS Love Actually. 23.976fps is a legal framerate for VCD.

Still, audio is nice and in stereo, and my son appreciated this.

video is pixelated, shakey, and blurry, all rolled up in one!
but its not that bad, its totally watchable, I doubt your average 5-year old will complain.

audio is fine, nothing noticably wrong with it, but I wasnt really paying attention, seemed good.

movies good, entertaining, it wasnt Shrek 2, or Lion King, or anything like that, just kind of like your average cartoon youd see any weekday afternoon on disney channel, only longer.

Ive seen worse movies in the theater, which is where this movie should be right now. There is nothing at all in the theaters right now for young kids. Well Robots is still playing, but theres nothing new. Madagascar next month and Chicken Little has been pushed up to November from July. Im sure this could have been put in theaters during a dry spell of animated kids movies and it would have done ok. Im sure the MPAA will chalk up low ticket sales for animated movies this summer due to piracy, not due to the fact theres not going to be anything playing.

choppy video, bland colors, and my God that watermark and scrolling message is like every 3 mins....damn! Movie was ok but not great at all and really short...no wonder its straight to dvd...

6/7/5 boring and pointless.prequel.
