Watch this...it starts a lil slow...then it gets you...your enticed..and at the end you say...Excellent

I just started watching the flick ... looks like another good one ... again I must have been living under a rock, because I never heard of this one either ...

Finally a good copy after the disappointing CAM this summer. Great release and a good movie to watch if you can.

Being in the UK i hadn't heard anything about this movie (it hits theaters here on Nov. 23rd) but i'm a big fan of Christian Bale so grabbed this earlier. All round, a great release, many thanks DiAMOND!

Sound

Hi ..I download it but something wrong with the voice not the sound ...I am able to hear the music of the movie but the voice of characters " the conversation " it is not clear ..It is so bad ...is anyboady notice that .....

You must be using Windows Media Player or something similar. Its your player - the audio is in 5.1 or AC3 and Media Player doesn't convert the center channel (with the voices) properly. Download a different player, like VLC or KMPLayer and it will work fine.

Now for a rip review:

m:8 (might go higher but they took some poetic license with the story... which would be ok, except the director also did a documentary on the same subject so should've known better.

A real sold rip - thanks Diamond!

Ive go no complaints about the video or the audio, both a solid 10/10..........

but the movie......

i love christian bale but theres just a few problems.......

the cinematography looked like it had been filmed in the 80's,
the shots of him flying the aircraft were very poor in effects,

he spent most of the fucking time smiling at the vietcong and wondering why they were mean to him,

there's no fucking way a military man would ever throw a gun away in the middle of a fucking vietnamese jungle in the middle of the fucking vietnam war !!

when he and his escapee mate ran into the VC and his mate got "owned", christian bale just got up and ran off - hello !!!!!!

at the end of the movie he showed no emotional scars what so ever - most people would have been fucked up after a stint like that but it was all cheers and laughter with the mates afterwards as if they had just won a dart competition.

based on a true story...................i dont think this film did the true story justice.

the film "platoon" much more believable

Had this for awhile just haven’t got around to watching. DiAMOND quality for sure based on skimming. Movie remarks indicate better make time to watch soon.
