Is your rating of the video and audio based on your dislike of the movie?

I see no problems here.

Looks like finally a perfect VHS screener but in my opinion you lose a lot of the movie in the fullscreen crop.

I will stick to my prevail ts proper. Its watchable and you still get the movie as it was intended.

v8
a9
m8.5

I will wait to re-encode a new dvd when I get an r5 or dvdrip.

bharts post should be removed as it has nothing to do with the release.

as a screener

8/8/?

video - 5
audio - 5
movie - 4

worst of them all

Not bad at all for a screener i'd say !

V: 8
A: 8
M: 7

Nothing wrong with this SCR.

8.5/8.5/7.5

Posted by scuffpuppy on 08-12-2008 02:44 PM:

As VHS screeners go, this is okay.
V: 7
A: 7
M: 8 (I actually enjoyed it when it came out)

Best wait for a DVD screener or an R5 release, but if you haven't seen Indy 4 yet and you can't 'wait' then this is an okay source.

V = 7 Seems a little out of focus
A = 6 Last 30 mins on cd 2 was out of sync
M = 8

Posted by Filthy_Rich on 08-12-2008 07:28 PM:

Small blur bottom right of the screen.

I didn't notice any sync issue with cd2.

V 7.5
A 8
M 7

I Liked It

Jst finished watching movie

Video - 8 (odd colors but could be filming style)
Audio - 9 (sounded great on my surround)

Movie - 10 (just cause I really enjoyed it, held off on watching because of all the crappy "opinions" of the movie. I thought it was great. I guess I should stop taking others opinions as fact and just watch..)

Posted by vibe666 on 08-13-2008 08:33 AM:

based ont e fact that it's a vhs screener:

V: 7
A: 7
M: 6.5

seems like the people giving it very pooor marks for quality are also the ones dissing the movie itself and visa versa for the overly good votes.

it's average all round if you ask me, not going to blow anyones skirt up, but I've seen a lot worse. people just seem to expect more from spielberg etc. (and rightly so I suppose).

Video: 7

Light entertainment and altogether consistent with the spirit of the previous IJ movies. Considering his age, Harrison does a pretty good job. Secret passageways, nasty bugs, bad guys, mysterious signs and such (typical for the IJ movies) make this entertaining if you can get by the silly premise. Worth the d/l.
