Where are the old pir8'ers?

Obviously we all know what happened to pir8forums, and although they shouldn't have been doing what they were doing where did all its members go?
There were several forums made just after everyone was arrested, does anyone know the links. If Admin disagree with their urls being posted please PM me the urls. Looking to speak to the old guys .....

It would appear pir8 itself will be making a comeback. Whoever owns the domain seems to be fooking about with it. Rumours are abound it will re-appear as a completley legit forum, hopefully this should re-unite the community.

Although obviously pir8 had its illegal activities those who would have taken the time to look further would have seen there was a large number of people that steered clear of anything dodgy. As i said before there was something like 90,000 members and when it all went tits up it was only about 8 people arrested. 8 people from 90,000 shows quite clearly it was a small minority.

I lower myself when i come on here and use the language commonly used, whereas pir8 is a friendly place with the odd tit. I'd say 1% of its regular members have popped in to say hello, a lot of other members are spread around like on MDS forums which completely steers clear of selling.

I don't get why nobody wants to mention the raids on vcdquality in the past, are people really that new to the site they have no idea it was raided several times over? Or that it had a homepage written by the FBI.

Have you ever gone back into a nightclub years after your last vist and thought "fucking hell its full of 15 yr olds" lol. Its not like VCDQ was ever a very good "club" anyway.

What has the status of the site got to do with anything (we've never been prosecuted for anything, nor do we break any laws, something that I'm sure you're already aware of) and more to the point, why are you attacking every member? If the VCDQ forum irks you so much, stick with Pir8 and MDS, I'm sure we could cope with the "hit" to our user-base.

If what you say is true, I applaud you for your stance (because sellers always have and always will be the easiest way for the authorities to point at pirates and link them with organised crime) but it was still tollerated on the site. With regards to VCDQ helping bootleggers, it's a consequence of what we do, in much the same way that reviews/synopsis from iMDB pasted to CD covers of bootleg movies is iMDBs way of assisting commercial pirates. i can't speak for everybody else but I've always held the firm belief that we're ultimately empowering home users to make informed decisions about what to "spend" their bandwidth on, "outing" crappy releases and hopefully encouraging release groups to push that bit harder with the quality of their releases, but I concur that commercial pirates also use our information and reputation to their advantage... and yes, that was said in my best happy-clappy, compost mulching hippie speak but it is the reason why I've stuck around here for the last six or seven years

Ok as you seem to quite obviously avoid the question i'll break it down.
Bootlegging you find unacceptable because its done by "work-shy" people for profit. So as a rule you slate people, or in this instance a community, for playing a part in that.
The release groups you promote probably do this for financial gain and are probably the same "work-shy" population you tend to slag off?. If, as you say above, its nothing to do with you then whay have such a bad attitude towards people that in the past did something wrong, but still choose to promote the other work-shy shits?

So realistically this site, made purely for bootleggers whether that be for private use or financial gain makes a profit.
