Star trek Nemesis

I just got back from seeing this.

And I have to say I was expecting it to be better than it was. But I still liked it.

its basically about this colligin lip enhansed picard clone that the romulins made but forgot to kill. anyhow hes got some kinda killer weapon , a badass ship, and control over the romulins and these lizard guys who live on the darkside of a romulin moon, They didnt look too good to me, more like amphibain nosfuratous

anyhow data dies and they tried to ham it up like when spok died but it just felt corny. The bigining was real corny too. I thought troy wanted to bang worf? and crusher's son was there too? And hes still pre-pubesint I guess the traveler got tired of him

There was some really bad jokes and some cheesy acting, and for some reason jordy never left the bridge. they should have rehearsed a little more somthing, the funniest part is when rikers bangen troy an this lizard guy takes over.

They also made the brdige look stupider.

But like I said i still liked it. And will probably watch it again when i get a dvdrip.

so let me get this staight, data really die, or does his evil twin dies. also is this the final adventure that this crew go on?

Goddamn!! That really pisses me off man, do you have any idea how to post a review of a movie without fucking spoilers....a movie that's a day fucking old!? I was expecting to be disapointed in this film, I knew someone was going to die....but thanx to all the reviews I'd read before now that were done by people with half a fucking brain, I didn't know who. Goddamn...bobby, I thought you were smarter than that....that was just fucking shitty man....you know you could of said, "anyhow a crew member dies and they tried to ham it up like when spok died but it just felt corny."

and as far as data evil twin brother lore is concerened, he is not in the film

Lore isn't in the film? See, now I'm confused.

Anyway, Bobby, next time you do a review please put SPOILERS in the title if you're going to give away a major point like that. It wasn't obvious from the trailers that *I* saw and, as we've seen, spoilers piss people off. Otherwise, nice review!

Wow, that's just about the most harsh spoiler I've seen in awhile. Very few have the balls to ruin a movie for so many like that. Either way, I give Star Trek a good 9/10. It was more of an action movie than the others. I personally like almost everything about it. A bunch of friends noted inconsistencies and little plot holes, but I'm not one to pay attention to such things. Overall I really enjoyed watching this movie, especially since this is the first one I got to see in theaters after I was consciously aware of how awesome Star Trek was. If you love ship to ship combat (don't we all?) then Nemesis' action scenes will own you like that time when you took your first girlfriend out on a date to a nice restaurant and ended up getting the shits... Or something like that.

Wow... Bob.... geeez man... that was rough. Thank god I watched it before I read this review. Damn dude. That just ain't right.

But for my .02 I think that killing "the crew member" that they did was pretty shitty. Personally that "crew member" personified Star Trek in this generation. So I am very disappointed in the outcome. Still it was a good movie, not a great release butas they say, "beggers can't be choosers!"

Go and see 007, that is a great movie!!!

HA!! Yea, I don't know if that was as disturbing as letting the "cat out of the bag" from Crying Game would of been....actually, that cat could of stayed in the bag for my tastes, heh. But I think billy got the picture, I like billy, and was just really shocked that he would drop one on us like that.

Data does die you fools! But, he has a clone, remebr that robot, he coppied all his "data" from him to the other robot, so it would be like having data actually ther, but only a clone!, even though they were both robots. remeber the head of data at the beggingin of the movei, there's your clue!

It doesn't really matter how much we can figure out from trailers and previews. Some of us don't want to sit down and figure out endings to movies before we actually go and see them. I prefer to go in and watch the movie for what it is rather than doing a pre-movie analyzation of the data collected thus far. I noticed that now the advertisements have made it painfully obvious to people that Data does die, though. One poster had Picard and Data on it and no one else. They didn't do any other posters like that which I'd seen, so I'm glad I didn't see that poster before seeing the movie or the wheels might've started to churn and would've ruined it all.
Now I'm off to finish my download of Starfleet Command III (which I already own a copy of but it's scratched ). I'm such a Star Trek nerd.
