all those gangster flicks
ok so here is the deal, i am looking for gangster films (all gangster films) and i need your help! please post movie titles to italian mafia, gangster/mob movies you can think of. here are the ones i can think of right now in no particular order:
the godfather trilogy, a bronx tale, goodfellas, scarface (i know its not an italian mafioso type film but deserves to be mentioned), casino, Once Upon a Time in America, carlito's way (kinda), dick tracy (i know 3 thumbs down but still...), true romance, road to perditon, Donnie Brasco and mario puzzo's the godfather.
just to name a few (that i have seen) but the purpose of this thread is to find some i have not yet seen.
oh yeah and i just know some of you are going to name some that are going to make me kick myself for not remembering but what the hell... lay it on me

I'm assuming you mean films that directly coincide with the inner working of Organized Crime.
A movie that doesn't directly relate to it, but involves Russian and Irish mafia that i'd highly recommend is "Boondock Saints".
Another 'interesting' one is Friends and Family. About two mafia hitman, that are also Gay-Lovers. Not my personal favorite storyline, but original.
Untouchables. A TV series, but great.

yeah of course the untouchables but i wasn't going for a tv series otherwise the said series would have been mentioned right after the sopranos
btw i heard this rumor that after season 4 they would end the whole series with a theatrical release but after reading a post on here i believe it was moviegod's or M$'s it appears that a fifth and sixth season are in the making so... i dont know about that theatrical release
thanks for Boondock Saints i remember hearing about that one but i'm not sure if i saw it, i will check it out (hell two "mafioso" type men in love has got to be worth a viewing

When I was 6 or 7 years old I saw this Italian movie it was over 2 hours long I think, all I remember is the end were the main character was in a hospital after getting in a shoot out and then after he got released he meat the welcoming committee outside the hospital - the mob. They pumped his ass full of lead like the Russians did in Training Day. I would love to see it again. I'm going talk to some people see if they remember the title.
EDIT
I saw the movie in another country not here. I'm looking through google searching Italian pages only. I really want to see this movie again. Just remembered some more of it. Don't get your hopes up I might come up empty handed.
yo Senic thats exactly the reason why i made this thread minus the title of the movie ofcourse, i hope you get the name of it

The Krays.
Heat (i suppose)
things To do in Denver when yuor dead.
Carlito's Way with Al Pacino, Sean Penn, John Leguizamo..decent flick. one of his last good ones i think, cuz The Recruit stunk so bad.
While on this topic, Al Pacino is stinking up his career with shitty movies lately (SimOne, Recruit..ech)
Bullet With 2 Pac
4 Anybody Dat Doesn't Know The Movie >Bullet< (1996) Movie It's An Old 2 Pac Movie Phat Gangsta Movie
The movie I was talking about is called Caracatita in Romania. Like I said it was in Italian but it had subtitles at the bottom of the screen in Romanian. Caracatita might be the name in Italian too. If not Caracatita in english means Octopus or Squid hahaha, but I'm sure Caracatita is the name in Italian. And it wasn't a movie it was some series but it was kick ass. I recall some episodes, I'm looking to see if I can find some pictures on the internet.
