Yea, but also half the shit that doesn't need to get deleted also does Even worse, some of the mods target specific users while bypassing on others.. this post will probably be deleted because I have a mind of my own and an opposing opinion

LOL, It's like socks in a washer eh.. It just disappears but I'm sure I know what I posted and where I posted especially when I go back to the same thread (which for example I have posted on in the morning) awaiting a reply to my comments but then it's gone or unjustly edited (later in the evening). I'm sure kalvaitis007 knows what I'm talkin` about *wink* *wink*, it's cool though.. No big deal, it's just funny because I've seen some of the worse remarks coming from moderators! How about something similar to civilians arrest but posters get to check the moderators by vote! LOL

When you (or anyone) post inappropriate shit that needs to be deleted, then I delete it. Don't blame me if you aren't smart enough to follow the rules by now. There are other, more flamboyant ways to correct people, but what's the point? No need to make a big production and draw more attention to the wrongful post.

And what's with this "unjustly edited" BS? You aren't Robin Hood. You aren't being oppressed by the man. You post stuff that isn't appropriate. Stop doing that, and you won't have to worry about the mods and their evil rules. I don't have "list" of targeted users, but I just might make an exception in your case.

If you have a problem with this, you're free to leave just like the other 5 nicks you've had that made untimely exits.

indeed, people just need to learn *WHERE* to post stuff? comments forum is not the place for a lot of the stuff people try and post, whereas they probably would be fine if they were posted in Releases or Newbies....

and my comment about people losing their posts refers back to another forum, where i got a load of shit off some guy where he said his post was deleted for no reason, i searched thru logs for ages, then i found his post WASN'T deleted, and he just couldn't find it funny i never got an apology

Exactly as MrpHo says. People try to post everything from "How do I play a BIN file" to Complete, detailed movie reviews (with Spoilers) in the Comments section. There are places for these types of posts.

The SEARCH function is another thing that people should try to use more often. This week alone I've seen about 15 messages from people that somehow manage to get a copy of The Matrix but they can't figure out how to play it. If all those people would look at the first few threads about that same subject, they'd probably find their answer.

Unfortunately, people use this place like it's a drive-through restaurant.

a post of mine got deleted the other day, naming and shaming knob-ends who pm'd me asking for warez or whatever.

Is that a no-no, or had i accidentally posted it in a silly place? not particularly bothered about it, but an explanation would have left me less confused. it DID take me a day or 2 to ask about it, so you can see how bothered i am

On situations like that, just pm a mod and forward the message. We can take care of them.

i will in future, but i like the name and shame thing

it's crueler.

having said that, the 2 nutsacks that pm'd me probably ain't been to the site since pm'ing me.

one of them had been registered longer than me, but hadn't even posted. cheeky prick.

Sure will, since this time my voting priveledges have been revoked and not once have I voted 1/1/1 or 10/10/10 however I may have possibly voted 1/2/1 once but some releases and films just deserve that. I can e-mail the mods back and go through the trouble of explaining something I didn't do but it's just easier to get a new account.. Time to snatch another e-mail and create a new user

note to supermod and admin...."please take care of this asshole once and for all."

it's pretty fucking stupid to announce you're gonna do this though, ain't it?

why not apologise and promise not to do it again, and give sensible ratings in future?

if your post goes missing you either didn't post it, or it got deleted.

posts don't disappear of their own accord.
