From what Ive watched (1st 30 mins), the picture is flawless. Solid encode for a 2 hour + movie. Its a shame the extras had to be clipped, but I agree with the decision for the sake of the main movie quality. Clipping the DTS is a no brainer in my opinion with a 1st DVD release, as Im sure a DTS version will be released fairly soon.

Sound quality isnt an issue as usual.. Overall another solid job by Replica.

Video - 9/10 - not untouched
Audio - 9/10
Movie - 6/10

Good solid release. I used the PPF patch on it though.

Thanks Replica. Movie is pretty good, good story behind it.

pretty good.

Video is pretty much perfect; oh and, yay it's NTSC! Sound quality is great as well, not DTS, (which can be fixed via patch apparently). Lastly, movie is a masterpiece, though it's a bit repetitive. Obviously the best release thus far.

Very Nice, 9/9/10. Understandable no DTS.

The sound most cetainly is 5.1, just not DTS. Even in Dolby Digital the surround mix is awesome.

For those who can't download the patch I suggest opening the image file in DVD Shrink, unclicking the empty audio file and any subtitles which are not required then backing up to a new Video_TS+Audio_TS folder. That will restore the Dolby Digital surround to Track 1.

10/9/10

It would have been straight tens if DTS.

Strangely this wouldn't work on my Xbox, Ps2, older Apex or Aiwa or my friends sony dvd player. Worked perfect on my newer Apex though...

Seems no one else is having a problem with it though, maybe a faulty disc (though it plays p-erfect on my newere apex)

oh Well, good release.

Awesome rip, just awesome.

10/9/9

Miss the DTS, but for most of us, this is just fine.

The bonuses on the retail were lacking any how, so missing them is nothing.

This will hold me over till the extended collectors edition in Dec.

Just perfect except for the patch flaw ..great encode
9.5/ 10 / 8 (quite a weird movie to watch but good)

Grabbed this release a few nights ago and haven't watched all the way though yet.. Had it playing while I was hooking up my new surround system as a tester to see if the new system worked and it sounded excellent even for non DTS!

V: 10 - Non downsampled..
A: 10 - Awesome, even for non-DTS!
M: n/a - havent really watched all the way though yet...

Nice release.. Just wish more groups would do seperate releases with DTS instead of DD5.1.
