I think that he/she was asking because a release of 2 hours or more should be on 2CDS.

A bitrate of 650kbps is about as low as it goes, dont think ive seen lower! Not seen yet ,but will watch later.

A=8
V=9(SURPRISED)
M= To rate keep falling asleep before it finishes(will try a fourth time lol)

I can feel a proper coming along....

Posted by kostnkost on 02-04-2008 09:18 PM:

I just viewed the entire movie, and to tell you the truth, it wasn't half bad for being on 1 CD. Not a crisp picture of course but...

V - 8.5
A - 9
M - 8

Oscar nominee???

did you guys even try to read the nfo, i know it can be tough with all the big words and all? it's not the first time it's been allowed either, also check DiAMOND's rip of 'the exorcism of emily rose'...

V: 8 (could be better, but still very good quality)
A: 8 (MP3, would prefer AC3)
M: 9 (one of the best movies last year)

Watched this on the TV tonight (60") and the video quality was very good. Since the movie is dialog based and not action -- the lower avg bitrate isn't that big of a deal. Now tossing something like transformers dvd on 1 cd would be noticable.

Still nice, as the last release I watched was the original cam or TS (forget which). but the quality was poor. Nice to see a good release.

v: 8.5
a: 9
m: 9

OK,this movie is hard to rate. While it probably should of been a 2 disk rip and there is definately noticeable pixel fragmentation in every scene that has anything black/dark in it,i think that its a movie were it doesnt detract from the over-all status of the movie. There is no special effects or CGI and every scene that is dark is based around dialog and story so having a crystal clear pic isnt essential for the movie. That being said it is soooooo much better than every other copy going around at the moment and every scene that isnt dark is very close to a dvd copy(nice picture).
V-8 (could be better but doesnt make too much difference)
A-7.5 (low range audio and no 5.1-does the job tho)
M-8

V: 8 surprisingly clear for the compression
A: 6 low MP3
M: 9 Excellent movie. Highly underrated this year.

Highly underrated? LOL! It's got many Oscar nominations!

v7
a7

DVD download was perfect. Just watched it:

Audio: 10 (low tones came out superbly on my subwoofer)
Visual: 10 (doesn't get better than this)
Movie: 10 (best movie I've seen all year)

Right up there with No Country for Old Men and There Will Be Blood. Excellent intelligent movie. Highly recommend it!!

Viewing this through the Xbox 360 it looks pretty crap. Still the best release out. Thank you.

V-8
A-9
M-?

I notice a lot of artifacting in general and blockyness in the dark scenes but that's par for the course for standard scene releases imo.

The movie was outstanding....right up there with No Country and Assasination of Jesse James (havent seen There Will Be Blood yet).
Awesome cast, acting, directing, story!

The opening dialogue is a trip.

V 6
A 7
M 9

V - 8.5 (DVD encoded, watched on Sony TV)
A - 9 (encoded 5.1 using Nero)
M - 9.5

Since Daniel Day-Lewis is going to win Best Actor Oscar (hasen't won since 1989!) over Clooney, I really hope this movie gets the win.

Smart movie. Great script, should get the Oscar, but I think Juno will take it (screenplay) after they lose on every other nomination.

If you like Halo over Rainbow Six Vegas, you won't like this too much
