I'm sort of disappointed also, but here's my review based on disk 1...

Video - nice full screen, no counters or watermarks but poorly encoded (maybe the source isn't 1st gen). pixelation and ghosting occurs in motion scenes (maybe that's why the sample is a slow scene), kinda grainy, there is an annoying color fade on the top portion of the video (sort of like bad tracking, and the colors fade in and out)

Sound - TERRIBLE, low volume, slight hisssssssssssssss (which pisses me off enough hearing them on telesyncs), and last but not least.. it's mono.

Final conclusions based on my opinions of a screener and from judging the source, I'd say video could have been better but audio flat out sucks. But best version out so far so I give them props for that 6/4/9. Too bad too, I liked this film.

Pic is nice, but Sound not all that great. Although I dont think its worth a proper just cuz sound unless a group can put it out in a couple days. I'll keep this till DVD Rip. Overall good job on quickness VideoCD, we didnt have to wait that long for SCR.

I suppose someone will proper it vid is a typical scr but the sound WOAH! o well its nuked but still can dl but I won't bother. From sample I rate 7.5/4/6 I saw the movie b4 lol. Not a bad movie... Could be a little better quality screener, but it still beats the TS. Awesome action scene halfway into cd 1. Audio is pretty good. Has a bit of a high end hiss..

the sound is disgusting, needs a proper really bad. I can't believe this group actually let this release go, how embarrassing.

I do like to see which retards voted on this release and gave the sound good ratings. hmmm, jpegs?

A great release by videocd, I don't expect TCF quality from them and they don't deliver it but they come a lot closer than anyone else at the mo. Ok yes it is quiet but turn up my amp and I have no problems yeah a bit of a hiss heard worse, while the video is pretty good a lot better than say XXX scr or eso's signs ( I picked them because they're both examples of how not to capture/encode a scr. Overall I think this is worth a 7/5/6 bearing in mind that I give it a 5 in comparison to other scr's not cam's if it was comparible to a TS or a cam of course it would 8.

Its funny, cos this type of hissing doesnt normally occur in SCREENER tapes. I am not saying that VideoCD is lying, but this kind of hissing problems normally occur when the audio feed isnt connected properly or something. Like in telesyncs. Correct me if I am wrong.

I am also curious as to why studios would allow such flawed SCREENER tapes to be distributed. Again, i would guess that this isn't exactly a SCREENER tape, but rather a workprint or something like that which I mentioned in another thread.

You also get hiss connecting an ear phone socket to a line in. Could just be a stupid mistake I reckon this is a scr not a workprint, normally shit vid good audio, not good vid shit audio.
I don't think a studio would release flawed screeners but I do think whoever captured this is to blame. Of course they could of used a knackered video player, bad leads no end of things. No serial which maybe why I'm wrong.

in my opinion , after seeing the movie , the jpegs dont really reflect the real quality of the video here , not to great , but not really bad , medium quality..
the sound is awufel , and the movie , well , cheesy..
