Wow they didnt really give you much of a sample to judge by...There was no audio and barely any video...but near the end of the sample video looked alright, maybe slightly blurry, but definatly watchable...as for audio, i have no clue...but gonna grab this release...

... what are you talking about? the sample is 1:14 , longer than most samples, and the last 30 or 40 secs of it contain constant dialogue.

think you got an incomplete sample.

and for whomever said it was choppy as hell etc... i don't think it's any choppier than any ntsc scr, myself... and blurry? in comparison to what, a dvdrip?

exactly lo.pro .. people nowadays are expecting dvd screeners on the plate..
Oscar seasons over, get over it!

Good quality, typical screener, much better than the cam I watched! Although the film was utterly appalling, and I normally love horror films.

Release looks good, good quality screener, though seems to be 4:3 instead of widescreen.

7/7/?

Just finished watching the movie and I must say, quality is very nice. The guy who said it was pixelated/blurry/choppy must have been on crack. I've played this on my standalone and I skimmed through it with powerdvd before burning so I have more to judge then just the sample, movie wasn't too great but it's not like wes craven makes the best of films... people still enjoy 'em. 8/9/5-6, another fine screener. Oh btw, has anyone else noticed this.. when I play vcds with media player it sometimes has wierd blips/scritches, blurred video and video errors but when I use PowerDVD it plays the same mpeg just fine? So i don't know if it's my wmp9 or my comp.

WMP just sucks all around. Stick with PDVD :]

<flick>
This movie was pretty creepy. I loved the opening scene with the little kid. As if that doesn't play to humanities darkest fears of the monster in the closet, or something under the bed. I found myself pulling the covers up around my own head. And yes, Im a gigantic pussy.
/me runs away screaming

8/8/9
if u have the means to get this. definitely worth picking up and curling up with a signific other to watch.... or a teddy bear

or ditch wmp9 and use 6.4... everything after that was bloatware.

just search your drive for mplayer2.exe... i think it's still included in the xp installation package (i know it is in 2k).

different ending??

just finished watching "they" pretty good flix, i watched on my dvd player and everyting was fine would rate 8/8/7. i noticed that the scr. had a different ending then the subbed version i saw a while back.... kinda liked this ending better. im not sure what the true ending is cause i wouldnt pay to see this movie but if anyone did see it let me know which ending made the final cut.

Posted by backoff on 03-30-2003 06:39 AM:

Yeah.... Just watched this... very weird is all I can say. It is like Darkness Falls. Both have similar (same) plot. I liked that one better tho.
Good quality though.
