This is an excellent Tommy-Lee-Jones-tracker-movie, as opposed to "The Hunted," which was a sucky Tommy-Lee-Jones-tracker-movie. I had to force myself to stop watching the previous version of this movie cuz the quality was poor, and I've been waiting EVER SINCE for a better release.

Great return TDi, and a great NFO to boot. THANKS!!!

Edit note: the sound is great, but the picture isn't very sharp. In medium & wide shots you can barely make out the faces.

LOL i have movies to watch before this, so anyone tell me is this movie dark or is it sample. I dont got time right yet to grab and check if its just sample part or bad encoding.. thanks

Fine picture, fine sound. What you would expect from a good VHS Screener. Cropped "Consideration" message, doesn't bother any of the picture though. I'll have to watch this tonight.

Video is kind of on the dark side not the best quality but for the best out. The audio is decent. I duno about the movie not my type of movie. Something my girlfriend will watch and tell me all about.

Good vhs screener. Vid7 sound8 film9 compared to other vhs screeners.

This movie is great. A western with a dash of supernatural and a nice touch of violence `n` gore.

Good Screener

Nice screener a little grainy , but widescreen and thats nice to see...my only complaint is that with the cropping of the for your consideration...some of the words that were subbed are now blocked off..no need in the cropping tdi...for your consideration was not bothering anyone..would have loved to see the whole picture..

video 8..grainy but yet good..bad cropping but ok I guess..
audio.8 pretty damn good..and average for a screener.
overall...8...great movie by tommy lee jones...worthy of his history of films.

Anyone know what is up with this (and other) recent releases? Since the rels groups seem incapable of entering chapter points, I break 'em out and put in my own. On this one there are no chapter entry points. I wouldn't know how to do that if I wanted to...

ne1 know what is up with this encode to cause that? or a way to fix it short of re-encode?

Did no one else notice that this has a stop start motion to it?

It's fine until about 9 mins into cd1 and then the movie keeps stopping and then missing a few seconds and catching up with itself....... annoying as hell!

I'm getting really jerky playback on my standalone; I'm gonna test it on my computer. Maybe i'll have to re-encode

Video - 7 - Video was out of focus at times, I had no issues like play problems, etc. The biggest issue I had was sometimes the sub's would be out of focus and near unreadable I'd have to pause and get up to get closer to the TV to read. That sux.

Audio - 7 - I think every movie that has accents I should wait for a retail DVD rls for closed caption. At certain times I could not understand wtf they were saying and had to rewind to understand.

Movie - 6 - Not as bad as The Hunted, but close. The Fugitive is by far Tommy's best chase movie. I wouldn't sit through this one again. Was fine watching just once, but never again. I think I just don't like this type of Western theme and the story was not something I got into because Jone's character was so ill regarded and unappreciated.

from the trailer I thought this was a horror movie and ended up being a western with kidnapping..but good movie over...I like tommy lee jones..not usual film for him but ok..
