k this looks good finally, was almost done getting their previous release before i knew it was nuked, as well as the videocd release. havent seen this yet cause the ts's were pretty bad. gonna watch whole release now.

Video is okay, actually quite satisfactory, there is a scrolling piracy message every 20 minuites or so then a few seconds of black and white.....

it's fullscreen

the audio on the First CD is low and hiss free, the audio on the second CD is louder, but has an audible hiss and high pitched buzz....

the movie is excellent as well imho

had both releases that were knackered so now eventually i get to watch the film !!

Just finished waching this release. Had scrolling copyright text every now and then, which was then followed by black and white video for about 30 seconds. Video was pixelated/blocky during fast motion scenes and audio had a bit of a fuzz to it when turned up. A problem which pissed me off is that on CD1, the volume is pretty low, so i had to turn my speakers up.. and on CD2, it was a lot higher, and therefore scared the shit out of me when I pressed play and it sounded like I was in a cinema :\

Overall a decent release. Props to MaTinE

I just downloaded cd 1 and I CANT HEAR A FUCKING THING... I got my speakers cranked to full and the audio is about as loud as a whisper.. i vcdgeared the mpeg, glad i didnt waste a cd... PIECE of shit repack.. if im wrong I apologize.. If not someone confirm this....Videocd please repack and teach this crew how to encode... I need hearing aids.. and my pc speakers at full crank to hear one iota of any conversation.

bah, I deleted this release after grabbing HellBoy.SCREENER-VideoCD/CD1 and HellBoy.SCREENER.CD2.REPACK.iNTERNAL-VideoCD

Damn Matine a Repack and its still not that great and the movie was not very good to begin with. Anyways.. Full screen pic. lil washed out colors.VideoCD has sharper colors... Sound is decent but CD2 not same audio source it seems as CD1.. I dunno thanx for the Repack, but i expected better.. Wait for a Repack VideoCD or DVDrip.. Thanx , but no thanx

decent sums this up, but far from great.

video - good colours really, some complaints that its washed out, but very much watchable. The scrolling copyright text is one of the worst ive seen, talk about intrusive lol.

audio - definate audio problems in the fact that its barely audible. volume up by a lot, but once u do turn it up its pretty clear no particular hiss to mention.

movie - not one of my favourite movies at all, see my previous Hellboy posts from other releases for review.

OK children, here is how you do it. Download both: Hellboy *REPACK* - SCREENER - MaTinE, AND: HellBoy.SCREENER-VideoCD/CD1. Then cut both CD1 at the same frame e.g. make them exactly same: cut the beginning at the same frame and cut the end at the same frame. Now you have two exactly same CD1 from MaTine and videCD. Now demultiplex audio from video and then multiplex it back BUT SWITCH the audio stream! Now you have "MaTine's" VIDEO with "videoCD's" AUDIO attached to it! I just did it and it came out PERFECT! No sync problems. Now CD1 and CD2 have same audio level. I did it all with Womble MPEG VCR - best ever software to deal with MPG files. You can open both files at the same time there and put them next to each other, this way you can see which frame you're cutting - it took me 20 min to complete both files. Don't forget VCDGEAR it to MPG before you start. Good luck.

Quality is ok, some sound bugs now and then, and some annoying screener msg's.

not bad, colour was a bit off and the sound is very low have to turn the tv volume up a lot, well watchable tho. movie was a big letdown for me.

the sound is horrible on cd1 and the videocd version is screwed up too..wait on a dvdrip or dvdscreener..most likely I'll wait on the dvdr...

Reality Is Only A State Of Mind...

Anyone compared it to Centropy telesync? Parasiticgannon recommended it, but he hasen't seen videocd or matine's. Wondering which one has the best quality overall, since I'm burning centropy's copy now, and getting repack of matine.
