Posted by crapper on 05-15-2005 03:24 PM:

Posted by overlord---57 on 05-15-2005 03:41 PM:

i was able to squeeze it on a disc so i dont know what you guys are talking about...

just look at

Racing.Stripes.FS.DVDR-Centropy

it had an even bigger amount of mb. but still fit perfectly never trust *******!

Posted by horsey on 05-15-2005 04:12 PM:

Had no problem getting this on a disc at all

Talking Nice Release!

Nice Relase!

I had no problems what so ever with this, burned fine, played fine and looks good! Thanks again TEG for another quality release!

As overlord mentiont, this isent oversized.. CTP`s Racing Strips, Even CTP`s BE Cool is bigger than this... So whomever started the hole oversizing thing must not have tryt burned it or comperd it to other grps releases..

who cares about you`re "nukers r`us" they obivious dont test or try before they nuke cause this isent oversized.. exact same size as any other DVDR from them and other grps. So whatever your blabing about it`s untrue and you`re a true lamer just for mentioning this as its got nothing to it. as i said in my earlier posts, extract, burn and watch it.. its not oversized, nor will your burn program complain or even mention that it is.

Its rared without compression as any other release should be comperd to the scene rules, CTP does, it and TEG does it.. CTP aint nuked and same goes for TEG. Both grps DVDR`s are fine and not oversized..

I find it hilerious to see such lameness find place, but then again its not in the scene and you sure as hell arent either elamericano.. Go back to "nuke R`us" seems they could use you for there lameness

just my 50 cent..

I suspect it was nuked for the fact it has audio synch issues (I saw the problem first hand and heard the same from several others).

It fits fine on a single layer DVD-R so that isn't the issue. Why in the world would anyone go by RAR size to judge if it fits on a DVDR instead of judging on the .IMG size?!

Each of these RARs in particular has 350+k of recovery (1%), so you have to back out that to even START determining what the overall IMG size might be...

Posted by chotto on 05-16-2005 08:43 AM:

it's not oversized, people. it will burn fine on either a -R or +R.

anyway, is the audio slightly out of sync for anyone else? it looks like it's off by a fraction of a second. although some people who are saying it's off by a second or two are exaggerating.

I wonder if the difference in reporting is because some of you just aren't bothered by the fact that the dialogue doesn't sync perfectly with the lips.

Posted by overlord---57 on 05-16-2005 01:06 PM:

i just watched it had no sync issue at all...

Posted by yidio on 05-16-2005 02:29 PM:

The lip sync is out by about 2 seconds

Posted by Redemption1980 on 05-16-2005 07:27 PM:

Yeah the sync is off by about half a second or so, nothing major, but i will be spending a bit of time fixing it.

The video is great for a Screener, a little blurry, but sometimes im a bit fussy.

Picture 10
Audio 10 but slighty out of sync
Flick 8 Well Watchable

Posted by derwood on 05-18-2005 08:16 AM:

Yes. Its out of sync by about 200ms. A little bit of fiddling with VOBEdit and IFOEdit fixes things nicely. So, a slight goof on TEG's part. But video and audio are most excellent otherwise.

10 for video
8.5 for out of sync audio
7.5 for movie. It was fun but not super blockbuster material.

Posted by Air1 on 05-21-2005 03:38 AM:

FLAWLESS video if not for the 5-10 artifacts that were kind-of like cigar burns but not circular at all.

did anyone else notice that?

this coupled with the VERY, VERY slight audio being ahead of the video (moreso in the first 14 minutes than anything and even then way less than half a second so stop exaggerating it ppl) makes me think possibly a SUPERB telecine???

afterall, telecine machines are used to make the film into video for even HDTV resolutions on tv channels like HBO HD and HDNet Movies.

the picture i just can't praise enough... fucking BEAUTIFUL. the retail won't beat it i bet. AMAZING rls mostly b/c it's not even a retail.

i DEFINATELY won't be downloading the retail when it comes out.

Posted by CoNS on 07-05-2005 04:29 PM:

It seems like this "DVDSCR" is another cleverly disguised telecine by TEG-DVD/TEG-VCD/MoF. A telecine of very high quality, but a telecine nonetheless.
