V - 9 VHS and scored accordingly. Nothing wrong here.

A - 4 Here's the problem. Horrible wavy buzzing noise throughout the entire release. Watchable but very annoying.

M - 8 I saw in the theatre when in limited release and liked it alot.

don't listen to acme420 he obviously hasnt watched it much let alone watched it all.

vid 8: definately a vhs screener, very pixelated but at least no white scenes or marks.

audio 4: WTF "clean and in sync" ? my ass !
you obivously haven't watched this movie. it is not only quiet audio, but wtf how can u give the audio a 9? when you turn it up you can hear a buzz/hum or some god awful static/ wind in the background.
it is listenable though but yeah kinda annoying.

movie 8: strong cast very enjoyable film, action buff's might avoid this one though.

Not bad at all.

Video: for VHS screener, 8. No watermarks or black and white shit. But I have seen better.
Audio: 7. There's some hissing in the background, esp when there's dialogue. But otherwise it's fine and in sync.
Movie: 8. Loved it; one the best movies of the year.

This is playing at the $2.00 theater up the road from here.

Anyway, this movies ok..i guess. I dont like vhs screeners.

why is the average rating given to audio an 8 on the main vcd site? it should be a 5 at the most.

a=7 (there's a little hiss, but it's easily ignored)
m=9 best road movie ever.

maybe it is a vhs source, who gives a crap, it was nice and clear on my 35inch 720p tv screen and the sound was clear, no watermarks and the movie was fuckin hillarious.

I converted this to DVD and the audio was fine,no buzzing ,in sync ,and clear.
Picture is a bit blurry but very watchable.
Its a dark comedy but I liked it,some great scenes.

the video is great for a vhs screener.......could of fooled me and said it was a dvdscr....sound is kinda fucked though, wavy hiss through the whole release.....oh well, great movie, thxz!

jeez have i waited a long time for this movie :P

video: 8. looks like an old VHS. pretty good.

audio: 6. fine, and in sync good, but had this annoying like hissing or buzzing sound to it, and at some times it actually sounded like it had a beat to it, like a song. sounded kind of like a techno song. did anyone else get this effect???

If anyone's interested, just demux and run the audio through Goldwave and use the Noise Reduction --> Hiss Removal filter and it completely eliminates the buzz.

Quality is not bad and watchable for a VHS screener.
Really enjoyed the superbly funny characters and plot in this intelligent and dark comedy. A rare treat and worth waiting for a DVDRIP ...

The hiss throughout the film seems like it's bleeding over from something in the computer, so whoever copied it from the VHS has something up with their capture box. Other than that, the audio's fine, video's good for a vhsrip, and the movie's surprisingly funny, with a good balance of lighter moments and dark comedy.
