Children of Men
quite good, I didn't know what to expect but from what I have been reading it's getting rather good reviews and I can see why, It's worth a watch for sure. I'm not going to give anything away, but you should check it out.

Blood Diamond
Well what can I say, I think this was a fantastic film, Very emotional and powerful, I don't think I will buy a diamond anytime soon unless I know it's not a conflict diamond, I never knew anything about it. If you haven't seen this movie it's a must see, I would say it's in my top 3 of the year.

Session 9
Was quite strange, but very good, "I live in the weak and wounded" That might make you fringe a bit, Do you like ice picks? I don't. lol. If you have seen the movie you would understand what I mean. It's not gory or really bloody but it's freaky, It's a great psychological horror flick.

maltese falcon (1941)
Fantastic Bogart film, Not as good as Casablanca but well worth a watch, Peter lorre got pwned by bogart, Best line of the whole movie "When your slapped you'll take it and you'll like it!" SLAP SLAP SLAP! Freaking classic. If you don't like classic B&W movies don't bother but if you do you must check it out. A friend of mine got it from netflix and burnt me a copy, Great flick.

Good thinkg about not having cable, I can't watch the same old shit over and over. So it's nice to watch new stuff.

I can now add Babel to the mix. If you have seen Amores perros, and 21 grams I woudl highly recommend this film, There all three laid out pretty much in the same way and executed nicely. The only thing I think could have been taken out of the story is the japanese chick, Yeah I liked looking at her naked body but she was irrelevant to the story or so I think. I just got done watching this film and it's still really fresh in my mind.

The japanese chicks mother died from a gunshot to the head, The father stated it was suicide but I wonder if it really was? Maybe he killed his wife with that gun? That would make her story very important. Interesting.

3 1/2 out of 4 stars, If I watch it again it may go up higher, Great movie.

I'm not watching shit movies right now, I want to watch the movies on my list. and so far it's been nothing but great movies.

Babel was the worst film I have seen in a long long time, made all the more disappointing because of its promising cast, writer and director.

Good movies I have seen lately

Bon Cop Bad Cop - French speakers can be funny, who knew?

Harsh Times - Christian Bale has a dodgy gang accent but pulls it off eh homes. I would say it is similar to Crash, only far more entertaining.

Thats about it, I seem to enjoy fewer and fewer movies as I get older. Borat and Casino Royale were both fucking ace, most of the stuff that gets a cinema release in the UK is.

Looking forward to watching Deja Vu on the big screen, heard good things about it.

only one of those i have seen is Session 9. A good few times. Great film. As you say, not gory or anything, but its well acted, good plot, and pretty creepy....if you own the dvd, the deleted scenes are pretty interesting to watch too!

For some reason, Memento came into my head today, so I think i should be digging my dvd out this christmas and giving it yet another watch.

Well i can add the first bond movie i have ever actually watched all of, Casino Royale which wasn't bad, It didn't have all the gay little gadgets like a laser on the wrist band or a ciggarette bomb, This one kept my attention.

but man I couldn't go through that sort of pain, My nuts are sensitive. I felt his pain.

2 1/2 out of 4 stars, Not the best film in the world but decent enough to watch, Will watch again eventually.

Casino Royale - 8/10 - A great change of direction from the overblown cheesy gadget bond. The best Bond movie by miles.

Children of Men - 10/10 - The best movie I've seen all year, watch it.

Little miss sunshine - 8/10 - Terrific and heart warming

Babel - 2/10 - Good lord that sucked.

I saw Harsh Times last night and yeah i would have to agree it's a pretty cool movie.

Earagon how ever the fuck you spell it, I thought it was going to be the worst movie ever, It got horrible reviews. Well it wasn't that good, it was Ok at best. It seemed like it was about half a story, Kinda reminded me of a rip off of star wars.

Superman Returns was 10x worse than this film.

I maybe give this 1 1/2 out of 4 stars. it was much more entertaining than Superman, It was about on par with X3. Yeah about as good as that.

Jesus Camp - 6/10 - Yeah evangelicals are carazy but we all knew that anyway.

Another Gay Movie - 5/10 - Funny but also a bit crap Good enough to make an avatar from though

Beer Fest - 8/10 - I really liked this after a shakey start. Funny.

Rocky Balboa - 7/10 - As good as any other Rocky.

School for Scoundrels - 4/10 - Kid from Napoleon Dynamite sucks in anything else.

Borat - 7/10 - Very funny, but is missing something when compared to his tv borat work.

I can add two movies to my list,

Rocky Balboa which I thought was really really good. I give it 3 1/2 out of 4 stars, Like I stated in previous threads It's ranked up there with the first 2 movies. It was a very personal story, It wasn't about the boxing as much, Exellent movie.

If you like werewolf movies, This movie delivers, It was rather humerous, All the dogs died around the neighborhood, Some might say it was a bit on the gross side, but it's worth a watch. I will be watching the second one here soon. I have seen the 3rd movie before and it was also decent, That's how I found out about these movies, The 3rd one was on The movie channel. Good flicks
I give the first one 2 1/2 out of 4 stars same for the 3rd film.
