How do I get it to a Disk?

I get it all down and cant play it or do anything

I did not want to break any rules here. But I quess its ok to talk about this subject. How do I get whatever I download to disk. Movies and music. Everytime I download anything it takes forever and then I can only open it through some stupid mp3player site which puts my security in jep. So how can I get these these types of downloads to disk so I can watch them on my TV. Sorry for not explaining any help is greatly apprieciated.

first make sure you have the proper codecs,read this thread and do as told http://forum.vcdq.com/showthread.ph...adid=54064,then you can either burn to disk,or use vso's convertxtodvd to convert to dvd format ,and then burn.

Am I the only person who thinks this sounds like he's installed one of "those" codecs that are basically a Trojan Horse and are released onto public P2P embedded into dodgy movies to lure unsuspecting peeps into installing malware on their PCs?

Basically, if those movies that you're downloading won't play in MPlayer or VLC then I'd avoid them like the plague - there's a strong chance that they're wrapped in Trojanated dog shit.

Genius, why don't you try telling us the file extension of the files you're trying to view (the bit that comes after the '.' in the detailed explorer view of the folder the files are in) and what media players you're trying to use to play/view them?

Alternatively we could try the Vulcan mind meld remotely, sometimes it works (but I'll need your full name, bank account number and online login details to secure the connection).

Well ... In my mind I think that P2P is usually only for music .... Big files like movies and games shouldn't be in P2P.
