Sky Captain and The World of Tomorrow *XViD* - DVDRIP - KJS
im curious, is anyone really going to bother with this? the dvdscr was perfect, though it looks like the colours in this dvdrip do look definately superior, but i wouldn't say the film was good enough to really be that fussed about it and i cant really see the need to download any dvdrip of it, unless it was 2cd... still, i guess its nice for those who want it, but id imagine only the dvdr would be sought after... anyway, the differences between the quality of the dvdscr and dvdrip arent that huge, unless your a bit anal about perfection, and having the best quality avaliable, which i kinda am, so yeah im grabbin this, lol
edit: ok now i can do a proper review, colours FAR better overall, not just slightly, but it really puts the dvdscr to shame, which had a very washed out / blue tint to it... the resolution is much smaller on this one though, but the quality is still good. its a little blurry, but im not sure if the video is ment to be (deliberate 'artistic' choice for the film?), also people might be happy to know the subs are included in the video for the opening 'german speaking' sequence so all in all, if u dont have the film, definately grab this, if u have the dvdscr u may as well keep it, unless u really enjoyed this film or have the bandwidth to spare...
7.5 / 7 / 6.5
Good video and sound! I liked the movie too.
