scene groups' calling card

finally sorting out my media and i have a dvd5 of the departed and can't remember who released this rip. do groups embed their name in any of these vob/ifo files or is there another way to verify what version i have like CRC number check like anime episodes?

Scene releases are always in Image format with a group name attached so if its a Video_TS folder, it's not a Scene release.
