Grass.

Inspired by the mario thread - who the f.. came up with the idea that a snitch should be called a grass instead ?

Now grass means:

1) a snitch
2) a monocotyledonous green plant in the family gramineae
3) pussy
4) a genre of music (jazz)
5) weed

Apparently its from the lyrics of a song called Whispering Grass and the term 'grass' was also used by Windsor Davies (Who sang the song) in the sitcom It Ain't Half Hot Mum.
