Exclamation SNEAK: Peter Pan Studio Pix Online!

Ok, this has the potential to be really cool. Nasty images though and obviously, who goddamn knows if it's authentic or not.

But anywho i'll bite the bullet and believe it for now. Check out these pics and read the post on imdb that accompanies them for more info.

A cannister containing a reel of shot footage (about 40mins worth apparently):

A shot of the movie being played (yeah, it's shit innit):

Read the post here:

Whatcha think?

The guy has also made other posts, read here:

Yeah sorry bout that

The pics are pretty horrid to be honest, but it's worth a look incase the guy is telling the truth. They are shit though lol.

As for the movie, i can't wait for it. It's supposed to be darker and more violent, geared towards adults this time, just like the book was. I also like the LOTR-esque styling they've given the movie too.

If you haven't seen it, here's a pic of the one-sheet lobby poster that appeared on AICN.

Hehehe, you'll like this.

great another remake...

They have to put a lot of violence and sex in this to get me to pay to see this...

Umm, i don't get it. What is it a remake of?

It's not a remake of Hook, and it certainly isn't a remake of the Disney animation.

It's based on a book dear, not a previous movie. Unlike The Italian Job, which was pure boy's cock.

...besides, Richard Briars is in it. And everyone knows Richard Briars is cool.

I'd see it

All you have to do is get past the fact that the book is one GIANT child molestation fantasy.

I mean....besides that, I'm sure it'll be nice.

...

...

No, I take it back. This will suck.

It's got a budget of $100m. That's more than any Matrix movie hehehe. Although obviously thats the only thing in comparison with Peter Pan and Matrix obviously.

I hope a large portion of that money was spent on cool sfx and a big fuck-off sized pirate ship.

The best thing is that the majority of the cast are a bunch of no-namers, which means they shouldn't be demanding huge paychecks for this, even though it is going to (hopefully) be a massive movie. It won't hit #1 at the box office because sadly it's released the week after ROTK. But i can still see it making a strong #2 for a good few weeks if all goes well.

Here, i found a better picture of the teaser poster.

Posted by shorty6pac on 06-21-2003 02:17 PM:

me wonders what kind of storyline it is going to follow i mean i dont see it following the disney movie just wouldnt make to much sense but then again i hope they dont ruin the whole kids character persona thing by adding a bunch of blood and stuff and as far as the sex mentioned in lax01's post he's a dam kid now whos having the molestation fantasies

Posted by Mystic Slippers on 06-21-2003 02:21 PM:

Umm, the movie is following the JM Barrie novel. Which, compared to the Disney version, is darker and more violent.

This version of Pan looks influenced by Harry Potter (judging by the trailer), but really does look like it has some potential. It's also geared towards adults. Which is a major plus. And you got that cool LOTR styling.
