i was checking the sample, and for an R5, i would give it:

video: 8

audio: 5

(during the sample, we can hear something like a "storm" in the background, it seems the audio was too low and they "pull it" right up without concerning about anything else.)

movie: from the trailer i would give it a 7, but i will wait to see the all movie.

just downloaded and extracted 1st rar of this, very crackly at beginning, sound dips low for a minute or so a couple of minutes in. It also has what i would call a very annoying bass type hum constantly in the backround. Sync is not perfect either, not bad but not perfect.

The audio to be fair is almost perfect, if not for the slight imperfections this would've been quite good, me thinks.

These sound problems may be fixable with a bit of work in an audio editing program, but i think ill wait awhile to see to see if there is a proper from someone.

V=8.5 (seems fine, very good)
A= 6 (especially for the annoying backround hum, its like your subwoofer is humming all the time)
M=? (looking forward to it, but ill have to wait)

Converted to dvd and watched the whole release, like denmat says crackly for the first few minutes then it sorts itself out.

As for the hum in the background, i turned the volume down as much as i could and i soon got used to it and it wasn't really a problem for me.

I also thought the sync was fine.

This has audio right through the end credits, but the last sentence spoken in the movie is in russian.

Audio jumps from mono to stereo, quiet, loud and crackles all the way through.

Audio is crackly for first two minutes, then there is a slighthum/hiss throughout. Very watchable though.

From scanning. Video picture perfect. Did note some of audio concerns mentioned but of course don't know extent. Started watching TS version which had OK quality but found the movie stupid so stopped. Maybe with this superb rlse won't seem so bad. Do like Murphy.

9/7.5/?

Certainly no classic but not a 3.2 either. Has its moments. Movie 6.0.

I agree with spinthemix. These guys go out of their way to provide a quality release thats easy on the eyes and you all complain like women. Its been out for a week,for god's sake. Anyways props go out to IVE for this one, and if they are reading this, your efforts were not in vain,some of us appreciate it.

Gave up trying to watch this after just over 5mns,took a quick skip through,audio seems poor all the way through on standalone players.
Pity as the video quality is great,audion goes up and down like a yo-yo with a constant hiss and some crackling throughout!!

Had very low expectations of both the movie and the audio quality after seeing trailers and opening few minutes of fuzz and crackling. Very close to turning off when the audio mostly got sorted and the movie was actually slightly better than the trailer suggested. One word review - "Watchable"
