Tourettes: I Swear I Cant Help It

I dunno why I keep posting documentaries in here but I guess somebody has to. Anyway, I missed this when it was on TV but downloaded it the other day (Tourettes.I.Swear.I.Cant.Help.It.DOCU.WS.PDTV.XviD-W4F) it has to be one of the most fascinating and funny documentaries I've seen in a long time.

Fuck it, let's not discuss the show, lets just mock it. My personal favourite bits were...

1. The guy punching the woman in the face in the supermarket
2. "Chicken, chicken, FUCKADOODLEDOO!"

I realise it's probably not a barrel of laughs if you have Tourettes but it's a great spectator sport

In the scene when there's several of em all being "helped" by that woman from the Citizens Advice Bureau they take it in turns to abuse her... I'm pretty sure most of the outbursts weren't due to ticks, I think they were taking the piss

Maybe I missed something, but I'm pretty sure they didn't give any medical opinion on how this condition comes about; it was interesting to see the sweaty sock talking about how it's like trying to hold a sneeze in, I get that.

So why when he was in Matalan did he shout "chinks" at those Oriental people? Surely some of this, if not a lot of it, is about them saying what they think rather than just random words. When that kid later on was saying "chicken" all the time I wondered if it was a bit of attention seeking - and then the jock says "chicken fucker" straight after. At the meeting he says "I've got gay porn at my house" then has to retract it... wish fulfilment? His friend says "there aren't enough gay men".

I think the impression I got of it was that Tourettes no doubt causes involuntary shouting, but I think the content of that shout isn't necessarily random by any means and explains why one in ten swear.

And it was *fucking funny* when he smacked his mate in the mouth at the supermarket
