Because I think they realize that their trailer for it sucks ass and does the movie no justice at all. I never wanted to watch the flick till i watched the first 10min.

i think its a great idea, especially when so many people seem to be saying how good the first 10mins are.

i hate trailers anyway.

holy jesus- that was probably the best strategical move by a film company i've seen in a while- tease you with ten minutes of pretty damn solid footage, and leave you at a tense part. makes me want to go see the damn thing!!- pretty soon too, cause the concept is interesting and i wanna know what the hell happens!

Yeah I did a little reading on that page that launches the extended trailer or whatever you call it ( a dam good idea on their part) and got the impression he wasnt dead.

Isnt it some unwritten law of horror flims that the first character
that gets introduced gets killed Im trying to recall all the horror films Ive seen and it appears to be the case to me.

Not that going against the norm is a bad thing in fact it is whats wrong with movies these days.

following the same sort of formular like films of its type.nothing really new i expect .

Everyone says the opening of the movie is the only good part so it's pretty smart of them to release it to the public. Who knows how many people will be tricked into paying to watch the rest of the movie which is pure crap.

the first 20 mins were the only good parts of this movie anyway

I also agree with the columbia on this move

It looks like its goiing to be one of those one week hits and then drops completely off the charts in 3 weeks so I will wait and download it. But other than that great move and its looks good for the 10 mins. And lets hope it gets better.

That is a scary movie!
