I've been wanting to see this one for a while, i missed the earlier screener for this and was told it was an excellent movie. I usually detest Heath Ledger in anything but i heard he was even good in this. Thanks Centropy..

Nice rip.....ctp may have lost THEIR suppliers, but it's nice to see their name again associated with quality rips

Well actually on that page the release is said to be released "Release: 18-Feb-2003 " so retract ur bullshit statement. CTP still has some access to early shit, give them respect.

Its FREE, keep this in mind about ANY movie release. FREE .. if someone gave you a mustang free youd be happy, but even if someone gave you a pinto free, YOUD TAKE IT.

Booker Man i think you missed the point of what this forum and site is actually for. It is for rating the quality of movie releases, talk about the movie etc, NOT for people like you to tell us how lame you think a certain group has become.

Centropy is one of the oldest groups still alive releasing things. When i first came into the scene these guys were releasing (back around the matrix telesync times), and i give them huge props for still sticking around, even if there are ungrateful bastards like you criticizing them. It isnt as though these guys died off like other groups or changed their name, they continue to bring stuff long after other groups have packed it in. Next time you feel like dissing a group, you should actually think about how lame you actually are compared to them, and think about how much they really dont give a shit what you think.

Don't care about who just what....

This is a really nice rip, good sound and video but it does have problems.

On Disc 2 & 3 you will experience pixelation during some scenes. If you have it fast forward a minute or two before the primary battle on Disc 2, you should see it. The pixiletion does not disrupt the sound.

Just an FYI for those who may be seeking this one.

Ya I noticed it to, like a flashing halo effect. Real crap rip. Probably caused from 2passes or doing some other type of hard cpu applications while rendering. Video quality is reeeeaalll ugly.

Yeah i noticed that pixelation too....but it ain't so bad, it only appears sometimes, doesn't detract from the movie. I wonder if this is the rated R version of this movie...shit it better be

Finally watched this one!

VIDEO: There is compression artifacting in some scenes. I'm sure it's the same as the 'pixelation' others mentioned. It's as if the compression is jumping up in waves causing heavier artifacting every other second. This was most noticable has a halo around foreground objects set against the sandy desert backdrop, but was not found throughout the entire film.

AUDIO: voice/dialogue audio was low. Everything else was fine.

MOVIE: Get past the slow first 30 minutes and this movie is actually quite good. Stunning cinematography. Great costumes. Amazing performances by Wes Bentley, Heath Ledger, and Djimon Hounsou.

RATING: 8/8/9
