Centropy OWNS me

well well well. these guys never stops to amaze me. with constantly increasing in quality over what i though not could get any better, they now take it to the next level and gives us this, the best fucking release in the history of releases. i can only hope spiderman gets the same treatment.
keep it up guys, cos like your old intro song sais, nobody does it better!

yes this is a trully excellent rls.

im guessin.. this is their test rls.. maken' sure people except it.. so that they can do it for spiderman :P... or at least thats what i hope.. then again.. ill be seein THAT in theatres :P

there IS however a minor line at certain times left of center.. but i dont mind :P... better quality than some sCREENERS

Posted by pony_sr on 05-02-2002 04:43 PM:

Talking nice!

Thanks for this release in SVCD format! I hope to see many more this way- you can only get so much quality using standard vcd format, so im glad centropy decided to break the standard and move ahead- i hope this becomes the standard soon enough

no tint and the audio syncs up great on my apex-ad1500

with the exception of a few names that is partially cut off in the opening credits because the image is croped, this could have passed as a screener

i donno.. is it such a good idea for looong movies to end up being 3-4 SVCDs? for crap quality, no, but what if it's just mediocre? i don't thing EVERYONE has unlimited bandwidth or patience...

Posted by ArchdemoN on 05-03-2002 02:25 AM:

how so?

for one thing, with VCD, LBXing cuts off so much you're left with about 128 to 192 vertical pixels of picture (if done PROPERLY). bleh. (i should know; i've made many a DCVCD)

also, even though it'll take a little longer (and a little more patience, heaven forbid), i'd prefer to fill two CDRs rather than leave 40% empty, what with a 90-95 min movie, and all. CDRs are cheap, but why waste so much of every one of them? i could get 7 music vids in that space...

however, picture quality MUST be AT LEAST this quality.

Posted by DarKMooN on 05-04-2002 10:00 PM:

great flick

i just watched this movie and i must say it was freakin' awesome!
i guess this is going to be the new standard... SVCD encoding for Telesync's. This is a must d/l!
