nice quality but 55 mins 43 seconds into the movie it goes russian audio for 1 minute 30 seconds .. then comes back , but as this is internal then its not a nuke .. so why isnt this in the internal section?

very watchable though, I guess the kids wont care about the ruski part.

I have suspicions about this being a TC, but instead think it's a very nice quality true TS that includes end credits cammed in an empty theatre but will rate as a TC.

As a TC:
V - 7 (good color but a tad bit too dark, heavy top crop, slight left crop, slight angle, film tends to jitter, if this was labeled a TS i would give it a 9)

A - 7 (light static throughout, obvious FM record job, not bad, but missing audio 3/4 of the way into the film for nearly 2min)

M - 7 (not as funny as the first, rehashed jokes, penguins and lemurs still the highlight of the film, one of the jokes early on is subtitled in russian)

Overall this is probably as good as one can get until a R5 appears or the usual suspects recode this source using a different audio source.

As I understand the definition of a Telecine it would be impossible to have an alternative language for any part of the movie.

sorry your understanding of telecine is incorrect. clearly they just had difficulties with the sound source. it could still be a tc even if the sound was all in german lol

telecine just means a telecine machine was used to copy the video from the reel.

Hmm, yes wrong section. It's not a TELECINE either, read the nfo, Prevail aren't hiding anything. However they do need to decide what they are releasing as they claim one thing and slip up on another..

The part of the audio that's in Russian is actually KGB intelligence. This is how they communicate now. Russia is reverting back into the Soviet Union (invading Georgia, Putin trying to be president again), so it stands to reason the KGB is being reconstituted.

KGB Intelligence? Some of you people are smokin some crazy shit. Anyways watched this yesterday morning with the wife and daughter, and we found it to have quite a few inappropriate jokes for children, but at the same time it was great. Sound was spot on apart from the 45 seconds to 1:30 it was russian.

And anyone saying a real TC can't have different audio is just a moron. TC is referring to the process of transferring from the cinema reels into the comp one frame at a time, kinda what they do when they master from the reel to DVD, except a TC is done by bootleggers and the DVD is done by the real studios.

And does anybody know what the little uhh..bug eyed animal says (the part where it has Russian subs)?

As previously stated..switch to russian audio for 30 secs or so but doesn't detract from movie..audio stays in sync afterwards...

Very nice release besides that,...thanks for sharing the Internal :-)
