Just signed up to say that the last 16 min are missing on this release -> get the repack -> Quantum.of.Solace.REPACK.DVDSCR.XviD-COALiTiON

Edit: Not trying to start a fight, but to the above poster: I don’t know how ‘This is a great copy’ as not only do you point to a different release, you also rated this so highly yet it’s missing 16 min at the end.

Yes grp request to nuke this for 16 mins short from film.

Repack is fine and total film is on there including all the credits 1.46 mins.

Not gonna watch it yet as just finishing eagle eye

Quantum of Solace DVDSCR DVDR-XPRESS have some black lines hardcoded to video (gray lines at bootom and top of screen) and video is interlaced (have some strange lines over the whole screen)

Colours are a bit washed, 640x272 XviD rez, 2 channel sound. But complete movie runtime at 1:46.

Rating based on the repack. The colors are muted and the overall contrast is dark. The sound is 2 chan vbr. Can anyone tell me if this 2nd release is complete?

rating the REPACK which is what most seem to be doing since the repack has not been announced on this site as of yet so please do not flame this or me; only issue is the colors are a bit washed out, and the possibility of cropping is high, but what was cropped is 100 % to my eyes unnoticable, you will be able to tell because of the FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION tags that appears often but not often, not often enough and not harsh enough to spoil this early gem of a dvd quality movie out just two weeks into its run... and no sync issues either, audio is 99 % fantastic... way to go but i highly doubt it'll win any awards, it's almost like that scr last year of American Gangster that was early and the movie did not win a thing, too bad, but hey, free movies for all of us, can't complain... just sit back with a few friends, some food, a beer and enjoy the show in your living room now...

Watched movie yesterday (repack ver. of course), forgot to rate.

V. 7 (over cropped and faded, though watchable)
A. 7 (decent 2ch for screener)
M. 6 (def. not like bond of yesteryear, CR was much, much better)

thought this one fit nicely next to casino royale...love the way the bond movies are going (no more cheeeeeze)...

Video: 7 - quite good, but as others already said it looks a bit washed out and soft.

Audio: 9 - nothing to complain about. It's not AC3, but since rules allow transcoding to MP3...

Movie: 5 - I don't like Daniel Craig. Period. I didn't like Casino Royal, I don't like that one. James Bond was always over the top, but one could think that Daniel Craigs Bond is friggin Superman. Add some ADHD-esque cutting and you get... this.

Based on the repack

V = 7 looked good on 28" monitor - washed out and blocky on 50"

A = 8 No real issues sounded nice and clear 2 chl

M = 5 Saw this first night 30/10/08 at the Showcase DeLux, I am one who is undecided about how the Bond Films are going, Did look good at the DeLux though

Video looked dull compared to the cinema, having watched it just a few nights before on the "big-screen".

anyone else having probs with this ending at 1.30.06 ?

watched this last night on my samsung surround upscaler (how posh is that!)
videos ok sound was excellent

the video isn't that great, but it isn't noticeable unless you watch it on a big hdtv.

watched on a 32" tube, low quality didn't matter that much.
