Nice release, but if you have the POT release, stick with it until the TC or whatever.

Very nice for a cam release, never heard of this release group, very good release though

Picture is very good (high quality cam more than likely)

Sound is also very good (for a cam), not very muffled like the common cam rips

havent fully watched it yet, looks good so far (I'm a fairly big keira knightly fan heh)

8/8/8 (from what i've seen)

aparently nobody has really listened to this thing. The audio is terrible it has a matallic noise in the background that makes everything high pitched. Not to mention the fact that all the way thru cd2 the audio keeps dropping out, every few seconds.

Picture is "ok" but very dark. Nice cam..and good idea to keep internal.

6/5/-

I havent seen this version yet but I was wondering if anyone that has seen it could tell everyone if this version is complete or if it is missing parts like the other ones. Thanks in advance. **************************************************
***********************************************

Well here I am again. I know this question has already been asked but somehow it was never answered. Does anyone know if this is the complete movie or is it missing parts like the previously nuked ones?

If you are going to see all your movies in a theatre, theres no need for you to be looking here, is there?

sample is ok, watchable if you would rather save the 7 bucks, and cant wait for a TS svcd. I can wait, and I dont have 7 bucks anyway

6/6/x (ive heard it kinda sucks from a couple people that had 7 bucks, but i'll make my own judgement)

Every movie I really want to watch I do go watch in the theater,
Dawn of the Dead for example went and watched at the theater
bought a bootleg at the corner store then d/l the wasted time screener and I will buy the dvd,Now lets add up the real total
me and a chick 14$ lg popcorn 5$ 2 lg drinks 6$ couple boxes
of goobers 4$ having to go piss at the best part of the movie priceless, so we have basicly 30$ and I missed the best part of a shitty film I say STFU!

Posted by ARCTiCDEM0N on 07-10-2004 07:27 AM:

i dont see EVERY movie in theatres just ones that look good to me others i d/l and if i like it i get retail dvdr when that comes out but wish i would have just d/l this movie cuz this copy looks decent but the movie pretty much sucked i though along with most of this years films.

missing the point

obviously missing the point of this board, it's to review the release. something that each and one of us is here to do. check out the vcdquality and give your opinion.

Pretty good for a CAM. This would make a very good telesync if i could merge the video with some DTS Audio. Video is a bit dark and has some artifacts (typical cam problems). So, i fixed that with TMPGenc. Hollow CAM audio as usual.

7.9/6.9/x - As a CAM

7/6/x - Just Overall.

why worry about what everyone else is doing? if you want to go to the movies do it - this forum is about judging the group release,,video audio etc
*yawn*
movie:
audio 5
video 6
movie 6

I wish someone would answer this question. I just watched the end of POT's disk two and it seemed to be approaching an end, and then switched to a previous scene then stopped. Guess I'll wait for VideoCD. I'd go pay to see it, but since I live in an itty bitty town on the Oregon Coast, the nearest theater is over 50 miles away. If the theater in town even plays this movie, it won't be for a couple of weeks yet. So, with current gas prices, we're talking more than $7.

I hear this is a reencode of POT's release, as the ThP one was also..but anyways, i'll wait for a quality TS.

i know this isnt the right place for this.. but i thought id pass out this lttle tidbit for those of u sucking off video cd.. i heard they are done.. at least for a while.. dont take sh1t 4 granted and assume that 1 group will do every movie. VideoCD puts out very nice TS indeed.. jsut dont expect to see any of them soon. Hopefully someone else will step up to the plate.. maybe chakra with their new TC machine.....centropy--->videocd---->???

Posted by GeNeTiX on 07-11-2004 10:08 AM:

well, if thats true, it kinda makes me sad. VideoCD has stepped up to the plate to hit homerun after homerun, everytime. Just like centropy was. Definitelty a dominating group lately, with so many quality releases. Still, this release is decent enough to watch if you cant wait for another group to proper it....

When will people learn. When dealing with Silvers like POT and ThP they don't re-encode the release. 2 groups ended up with the same silver (and now possibly a third) and they both did their own encodes of it. ThP messed with Brightness filter and Contrast Filter and made theirs look a little better then the POT but it was not a TS it was a CAM. Hence the Nuke. If you want a true TS wait for VideoCD and/or Centropy if they happen to release this flick. Don't go accusing ppl for Re-Encoding when they aren't re-encodes they just ended up with the same source.

Not sure what release i have because everyone is posting that they are DUPES.
but this version is very white washed and sound is not amazing.
As for it being a CAM the quailty is at my standard.
As for the movie itself i enjoyed it(but hay im from manchester uk)
