Not a bad movie... but rumours have it that this is same source as maVen, can't see how it can't be though. Better sound and picture quality just a re=encode though

Pretty obivous its a maven reencode. the motion blur (given by all none-24p cameras) is pretty damn obvious.

try again boys.

Posted by Prophecyz on 05-27-2006 02:47 AM:

Based on sample:
V: 7 (Not bad for a telecine, picture is clean)
A: 6 (The audio is not bad, but there is some "noise")
M: ?

I have not seen the maVen release so I can't say anything about the re-encoded thing.

EDIT: After watching more of the movie, I don't think that this is a "real" telecine, it is more like a telesync. But no matter what, the video and audio is still nice. Alot of people are saying this is a re-encoded version of maVen version of "Over the Hedge", I don't know anything about that. I am just glad that there are some groups releasing movies. I still remember the old days without internet, ohhhh my lovely VHS version of Rambo III before it came out in the BIO......hehehe. Internet is "Gods" gift to us movie feaks...

Cheers

You see this is why maven watermarked his last release, I hate re-encode groups like this but seeing as I didn't rate maven's copy i'll do so here.

Video - 9
Audio - 8 , Little low but bearable
Movie - ?

What I actually did was take maven's video and put it with lrc's audio, works a charm. Any propers for this should just be disregarded unless its from a reputable group.

Wow, this is about as retarded as a Blink release. Takes about 5 seconds of watching the sample to tell that it's not a TC, and is probably stolen from maVen. There's a glitch in the sample that isn't an encoding artifact, so it should be easy to find it in maVen's too.

Audio is somewhat better. It's not as quiet, but even in the sample there's some glitches.

Who do these jackasses take us for? This is no TC.

Still, it looks good. Having not seen maVen's TS, I can't say if it's a re-encode. But regardless it looks great. Minor sync issues in the middle, but the rest is ok. It's a little dark in spots, but only the beginning is dark.

Video: 8
Audio: 8
Movie: 6

I couldnt give 2 fucks of a care if this is a re-encode or not or what source it is from. The point is it looks better than the maven release did. Let rate the release quality here guys and not worry about the scene rules.

D'oh, your source is a Telesynch...

I can't believe people would actually buy it's a telesynch, look hereis a cap from the maVen telesynch

and this is the 'so-called' TC

The audio _s much better than the maVen one, but I guess rules are still rules

DEFINATELY a re-encode of Maven's TS, but labeled as a TC
At 1hr 13min 44sec on BOTH releases , you can see someone walk in front of the camera. I dont think that is a coincidence. And i dont think a TC would have someone walking in front of a non existent camera. nice try . /me wonders if blink is back with a new name LOL

Video - 0
Audio - 0

Lamers!!

this release has a cleaner picture that Maven's...both releases have FM quality audio with pops and ticks in the audio...If you filter out the stereo noise and rock the audio MONO, it sounds just fine...

Sounds like to me the Maven release should have been re-packed instead of someone else re-coding the entire release...

8/5.5/9 The kiddies loved the movie!

While most may not care that it's a re-encode, most DO care that it was labeled a TC by the group. As someone stated earlier, a siloutte walks across the screen at 83 minutes. Kinda tough for that to happen w/ a TC, don't ya think?

It's a flat out lie. If everyone let asshats like these get away with crap like this, the scene would fall apart. (admittedly, it's starting to fall apart anyways)

There are very good reasons for scene rules. And this is a perfect example...

Just my thoughts. :-)

It would be so nice if all groups would respect all the scene rules, unfortnatly, that wont happen anymore. They respect the rules that bring good to them.

It honestly wouldn't be that bad if everyone in the scene would just label it properly....not that everyone flat out lies about ts's being tc's it makes people have to work harder to figure which groups to download from....if you're gonna re-encode then fine...just label it properly
