(I don't rate much so my numbers might not be so great)

From sample, as a SCR:
V: 6 There have been worse, but it's still not incredibly crisp.
A: 9. Only could be better if it was surround, which is asking alot.
M: N/A

Other notes:
Unless the sample is just messed up, the AR is set wrong and there's no (or maybe just crappy?) deinterlacing. I had to turn on some in my decoder. Looks pretty nice afterwards, though.

OK

Looks better than XviD. Don't listen anyone who tells you other wise.

V- 7
A- 8
M- ?

Yes, it's a bit darkish and washed out, but not that bad. It looks much better on TV screen.

Best release up to date. Great job!

Watched the whole movie and also think the quality is superior to the DIVX release.

V 8 - as DVDSCR being out so early
A 8 - would give it 9 if it was 5.1
M 8.5 - cool movie

I believe the reason why some people consider the DIVX better is that the divx release has been IVTC'ed from interlaced encoded material (source). So if you watch this DVDR release on a software player, standalone player and/or progessive TV/projector with a crappy de-interlacer, this might turn out to look worse than the divx. That is definitely not the release's fault but your equipments fault. Scalers and Deinterlacers vary in quality. There is no interlacing or whatsoever visiable with proper equipment.

As for the aspect ratio. The sample vob is missing 16:9 flag, the dvd itself is correctly flagged.

if you dont have axx to the actual release please dont comment on it and dont just because of the jpg you dummys

now

this looks to be a clear dvdscr but again im going by sample myself - now it does look interlaced but once you burn it that problem will be gone

thanks for the dvdscr dreamlight

It's amazing watching people crawl out of the woodwork for a big release like this.

Extractor is right. Watch it on an HDTV with the right hardware and it looks great. Watch it on your PC with the right software and settings and it looks great. Watch it on a standard def TV and it looks great.

Video is 16:9 but Dreamlight didn't tag it, which can create problems with some DVD players. Open the vobs in PGCEdit and set the domain stream attribute for video to Automatic Letterbox if your shit is playing fullscreen. Anyone bitching about the AR or cropping either needs this simple fix or is judging from the sample/rars.

From the actual movie:
V/8
A/9 for what it is, can't really expect 5.1
M/? Haven't had time to watch yet, looking forward to it though.

8/8/9

MY DVDR stopped after 73 minutes into the film but class act all up to that point.

Low def/resolution 27" makes this look fantastical!

Grabbing the divx for some compare wonder if its the same source....;mmmm

Downloaded part of this and watched the first 5 minutes and it's even worse than the xvid due to interlacing.
