Have to say , Good Job MaTinE. Picture fullscreen looks excellent - no blocks like on VHS Screeners. Colors seemed fine , so screener counter noticed. Sounded excellent also. Picking this up now

Spot on with quality with this release. No counter is a bonus if the pic quality is good. Thanks again

Nice FS screener. Cleanish video with vertical scrolling watermarks followed by short b/w interludes. Audio is nice but seemed a little distorted.

7/7/7

Posted by m4ca on 04-19-2004 01:12 AM:

whats the diffrence in quality with this and the other 9.0 rating vversion?

Posted by bcool2k on 04-19-2004 02:56 AM:

I agree with Blue-Neo on this one.. Excellent Full screen screen. Both Picture and sound are crystal clear and no counters that i saw, but I still think the WS TS TCR SVCD is better, call me crazy, but i'll wait for the DVDRip also...Props to Matine on an excellent rls.. Download if u must.. Enjoy!!!

Very nice screener from the sample. If you haven't seen it yet I would grab this one. The ts I have is good enough for me until the dvd arives.

Posted by james_cell on 04-19-2004 07:51 AM:

yo, i am currently downloading the tcr version and just wanted to ask which was better in video quality, tcr or matine, thanks.

B2kcool you obviously havent seen this.. DONT JUDGE shit if you havent seen this. Overall, quality is VERY nice.. made for a good family flick.. Colors a tad faded on dvd player, as vhs yields loss... live with it.. very little pixelation. However, one bad thing, this reminded me of the old swat vhs.. It has a scrolling transparent message about 6-7 times in the film, and makes a squeak noise, then goes black and white about 10 seconds. Nothing major.. very livable. This copy is superb until a dvdrip is out.. Pretty decent film... for the reviews above, ignore people who dont bother watching a film, and post on jpegs..... for all intensive purposes, they are more a headache then they are worth... should just have forum and as jpegs yield to idiots =( .

If you can compare this rls to TCRs i have to assume you are blind! There is no comparison! This is a great screener of a great movie only bad thing is its FS not WS! Well beggars cant be choosers!

nice FS screener, 7/6/5, intereasting flick...

Posted by zangano on 04-19-2004 06:50 PM:

from sample only:

looks very good indeed, but it being a FS
just took me away from gettin it

what do you like better a VERY nice TS WS with no scrollings, or a SCR with scrollings in FS that is not like 2 times better th TS?

id say for you that like WS keep the TS, and dld something else.

well first off, this is a great release, PROPS to Matine!

8/8/9

Reading some of the above posts i've come to a conclusion, feel free to correct me if i'm wrong, but....

it seems like half the peeps posting here ahven't even watched the movie yet!

I counted a few posts saying no scrolling marks, no blurrs,

BAH~ you lie!

there is a scrolling warning that appears 6 or 7 times i nthe movie, followed by 3 to 5 seconds of black and white. During the black and white period you can see the smudged out serial number!

So, i'm not complaining about tyhis release, it's a GREAT VHS screener!

I am complaining about the posters posting reviews based on jpegs.

Sto pwasting our timE!
