It's a bit blurry for a DVDRip with a bitrate above 1200. Maybe it's the bad source though.

I'd also like to know if this movie is the unrated version. I certainly hope so. Does anyone know the difference in timewise between rated and unrated that may give it away?

looks like the rated version. there's an extra scene between seth and jewelz in home ec. and also an extra scene when seth is talking to evan on the soccer field that aren't in this release.

I see they re encoded from 25 fps to 23.976 fps and then pulled a 5.1 ac3 sound track from their magic hat

I've compared samples from DVDScreener, R5 and this release. Looks like DVD screener had the best video quality. Apparently it is also has some extra scenes.

from 25 to23.976 and make it 5.1....

hat to make 5.1.....

A bit blurry from viewing of the first CD.

Will look forward to unrated....

edit: there appears to be an error at 35:42...looks as if there is something blurred out, or just a scratch in the dvd...

I didn't say it couldn't be done any idiot with vdub and besweet could do it but theres a big difference between a five channel mix of a stereo/mono track and a proper 5.1

If you can deal with the sony property logo, get the screener. Video and audio were top notch, both a step above this release, and there was no question that it was the extended 'unrated' version.

video on this could be better, why we would need 5.1 for a comedy often baffles me. But hey its still 5.1 so no complaints.

V=8 (not the best for a 2cd rip. Nothing new from FLAiTE here then. But its still quite good)
A=9 (Well its 5.1 and sound pretty good to me)
M=8 (some of the best laughs ive had in a while. Blows Knocked up out of the water)

Superbad.UNRATED.DVDRip.XviD-ESPiSE is out.

About the same quality as this release but 6 minutes longer.
