My Review:
Video: Pretty good for a cam (thanks for labelling it right). From the Sample, it doesn't seem as grainy as their past releases, but the video doesn't catch the whole screen. The color seems a lot darker though.
Audio: On par with their past releases. Audible, not great, typical cam sound.
Movie: I'll start by saying Louis Sachar was one of my favorite authors as a child. I loved his "Wayside School" books and some of his other books. Although most of them were pretty damn stupid (both stupid in the funny way and the dumb itself way) Holes was something extremely different. I was about 16 when it came out and read it anyways, even though I was a bit old. Nonetheless, I enjoyed it. I don't really give about the movie though. In terms of Disney movies, I try to avoid them. The Pixar ones are cute, however. The thing about Disney is the way they try to brainwash you when you enter Walt Disney World and play "It's a Small World (after all...*repeat*)" To me, it's like: Forget all your problems and let us fool with your mind with our magic. It's a scheme, well, that's how my mind works, disagree if you will, but your not gonna change how I feel. If I hear good things about this one (the reviews have for the most part been positive, but I need more), then I'll watch it.
Last Words: I'm glad MFP is consistently releasing movies even though the releases have been pretty average; (I tend to give them 5's) and I even like them more after seeing two of the worst groups (sWs and FTF) attempt to release movies today.
Rating: 6.5/5/x (for what it is---a cam)

just want to say good job mfp. i like this! Video looks really nice ! audio is good. Video i would give a 7.5 audio a 6.5 i would like to give video a 8 but its a cam... and also i have not seen the whole thing.. also i would like to say props for releasing it in vcd and not svcd... i am not crazy with some of these ts's being released in svcd when vcd will do just fine, i know its a cam and releasing it in svcd would be the kiss of death anyway, its just good to see a group using its head (especially in the lableing dept).

this is a normal CAM but a really special movie

I went to see it in the theatre tonight an thoroughly enjoyed it. The famous actors and actresses were amazing, especially Jon Voight!

I don't know if it's just me, but the audio seems a little desynched in the sample. When I finish the whole movie, I'll post a review.

just watched the movie... wanna say it was pretty cool.. avg 6.5 ... as for the post above.. i saw no problems with the audio sync.. (btw.. my player is windvd)

Just got the sample, Damn people don't like CAM these days.

I find it alright they are Quick way to watch a movie, the Quality is CAM but its good Sound is hal but who cares its worth watching

DAMN good story....

Just started watching this. Not a bad cam. Good color.
Audio isnt too bad. Kinda quiet and has a hiss..
Decent Cam

Good job MFP, this seems to be a pretty decent release. The video has surprisingly good color and the audio is bearable too.

I give it 6.5/5/x



::Edit- I just grabbed the full release and I have to say that I am going to change my score, the sample was kind of decieving. The video is suprisingly worse in the rest of the release, than the scene that was in the sample. So, I give it 5/4.75/x

Also, since they haven't posted it up on here yet, I will rate the APM release. First off, YUCK! Those are some natsy subtitles, they take up half of the screen. The video is below average (I think it is worse than the MFP release) and the audio is terrible, I would have to say that I think the audio on the CAM is better than the audio on the TELESYNC. Yikes. I give it 4/3/x

Why no APM in the list?

Sorry if this is off-topic, by why doesn't vcdq list the APM release of holes? After all, that's supposed to be a subbed telesync.

5/4/7 little to dark and blurry with low muffeled typical cam sound better than the apm release....

watch out for the yellow bellied lizards!

Well when I first checked the sample of this I wasn’t too impressed, but after burning it and popping it in my dvd player I have to say I am pretty impressed. Video was EXCELLENT quality and colors were magnificent. Audio was slightly muffled but for a cam its still good, I heard a couple loud buzzes in CD2 but it was no big deal. All in all this was a great release and I hope you keep up the good work MFP. Movie was alright, cant really say I liked it a lot but it was worth the download.
