just bought titanic and found another ending

hi, i just bought this dvd of titaninc special aniversery edition(or something) in a store nearby and i found a easter egg, if you start the movie and press play(with english subtitles on), and jump to scene 32, and then back to 16 and then back to menu page, then go to scene selection, you will have a new scene, showing titanic sail in and it dosent sink! and everyone survives, the scene starts just before they hit the ice, and they turn and sail around it, and then it continues normally! (around 40min long scene), amazing ha?

lmao. not the fact that you found an easter egg in Titanic, or that you bought it, but that you actually watched the 40 minutes of shit after it...

Im sure this is crap, but what really really disturbs me is that it wouldnt suprise me in the slightest if it where true.

I needed a good reason to buy this movie on dvd, This just may do it. I know I know, it would be interesting to see if it is true, Dude can you confirm if it's real?

i think its fucking brilliant. the boat sails round the icecube and carries on, fantastic. tell me mate do thy get to the u.s.?

(p.s. how can it happen? the story exists cos the necklace is found, then the woman tells the story, if necklace wasnt found cos boat neve sank, then why is there a begining to the film?)

Posted by dezil on 06-23-2003 06:53 PM:

Ive also made up a 3rd ending.

The titanic set gets mixed up with the Die Hard set, good old bruce willis comes along and blows the fuk out of the titanic, kicks di'caprios ass and beds da chick. hehe sounds like a better film now

Also the necklace gets blown from the ship thus starting the story!

Damn i shud be in holywood!

yes but if you change scene 32 to 29 then back to 4 to 36 back to 5 then back to menu.the ship enters the bermuda triangle.dissappears they transports to 2005 and is discovered next to newport pagnel train station.

stop telling fibs !!! let's see your proof if you got some ?

rent the aniversery version and check it out yourself? btw, it is a easter egg, its not suposed to be correct with the orginal story, and i correct a misstake i made, its acctully only 29 minutes and 14 seconds long, and the quality is not like the real movie, the quality is like the hulk workprint(i think, whitout the black bars etc) and there is a clock running in the right lower corner but its not right synced with the real time, its starts on 14.36 and ends on 43.05 (thats why i thought it was around 40min) and on the left upper corner there is some sort of number codes, and YES, this is a orginal dvd, its not burned or anything, bought it myself for around 24euro (2 disc edition)

find the vob using powerdvd and make a few screengrabs (like one everytime something interesting happens) would be neat to see.

if it is true that would be worth seeing.but i don't see why they would film it if it strays so far from the overall plot and history of the sinking.a 29 minute scene would cost a lot of money.

they probably decided to make an alternate ending and never released it.....i know there are dvd's that have like hidden cut scenes....you have to do like button codes like a fucken video game....that would be nice if u got some screens of that shit...

How about the Easter Egg that shows Lianardo Dicaparo being chopped up too itty bitty pieces by the giant Titanic repeller blades?

I have a sneaking suspicion that Stinger is James Cameron trying to boost sales of his crappy movie.

Titanic crappy? Maybe to a bunch of guys with no sensitive side at all...or teenage boys who have no clue to what went into the making of that film.

Here's why it's not crappy:

1. Highest grossing movie of all time worldwide.
2. Highest grossing movie of all time in North America.
3. Tied for the most academy award wins of all time.
4. Tied for the most academy award nominations of all time.
5. I think that about sums it up.

Plus, there is no denying the amazing cinematograpy, score, and editing.... even if you don't like some of the corny lines. Sure, Leo says "Rose!" about 200 times, but that makes for a pretty nifty drinking game.

Don't chalk this up to teenage angst. The movie was made to win an oscar. It's like Road to Perdition, they make the movie based upon what Oscar judges love.

I watch my share of romance movies. Most recently, I purchased Punch-Drunk Love today. The simple fact remains the story was just a generic love tragedy put on a famous boat. Big deal.

i think point 2 is covered by point 1, even if america wants to be in a world of its own (just messing, i know what u mean, i just have to display at least 3 "down with the west" points a day or my license gets revoked)

as for titanic, i have no problem with it. i think the way it was made was very good, and writing it as a love story was a pretty good idea, and it worked well.
