Good early pre, 1 week+!!

Audio is a little hissy, pic is a wee bit dark, but fuck, for a pre-theatre you cannot really complain.

::edit a score would be nice.

this is one of ftfs recent gems, i mean its nice ws, it looks a lil washed out and pixely, but its acceptable. the sound actually might be direct for once from ftf, from sample its pretty damn good. im gonna grab this due to the bangin pre, and the movie looks to be funny. nice job boys.

6.5/6.5

not a big fan of a remake of this cult classic ,but hey this for a week pre is watchable.little blurry motion blur.bit of a hiss in the sound colour slightly watched out.based on sample at minute.

I've been dieing to see this. I'll wait to see it at theaters first but i'd glady settle for this once i've seen it at the theater unless a better release comes before that.

Posted by Red0ut on 02-26-2004 07:59 PM:

bah some1s head in the bottom left corner. rls is ok, but nothing more than ok. props for 1 week pre but im not going to waste 2cdrs on this. extreme widescreen too :S quite pixelated and blurry and sound is kinda muffled.

4.5/6.5/?

Posted by vcdkrew on 02-26-2004 11:42 PM:

for a week pre and for it being ftf this is very good. there is a slight angle and there is pixelation, it is still good. looks like a funny movie, ive been wanting to see it.

THE MOST INTERESTING PART OF THIS MOVIE IS THE FINAL 1 SECOND - ITS A CLIP FROM THE GIRL NEXT DOOR

I agree with Mystic Slippers on this rls. I mean come on ppl. We are talking more than 1 week pre for a watchable rls. I mean i'm not usually one to dl FTF movies, but this was not half bad. The pic is tad blurry in the background, and the audio has a small hiss for about 5 min or so after that its ok. I give props to FTF for such an eary release. So i say enjoy the FREE movie, i know i did

PS: This review is based on the Full Release of this movie and not just the sample. Also love how it start out with preview for Taking Lives. Looks cool and puts you in that at the movies mode.Later!!

6/6/ and fall sleep at half movie, was too drunk :S

watchable but could be better with effort
audio nog very good, if you get this try to fix before burning, or just wait for a better one.

i remember the series and my dad torino, everyone wanted to have one of those.

Posted by BloodyGrape on 02-28-2004 05:38 PM:

for a pre this is great, its certainly better than alot of the TSs from a week after theatrical release...

especially for a comedy, this is completely watchable. Sound does hiss occasionally, but it doesnt really hurt the release. The pic is too bright, has slight black lines on either side and isnt all that clear, but again, for a 1 week pre COMEDY, it honestly doesnt matter.

nice job ftf

7/6/8

funny movie

ok this is a dumb question. but what is the name of the song playing in the sample. in the cheerleader scene. im thinking its jackson 5. but i cant think of the song. drivin me nuts.

Posted by Zipomatic on 02-29-2004 09:13 AM:

Considering this is just a regular TS it's pretty good. The video is nice, a little blocky with a slight tilt. The audio is very clear (apart from the first 3 mins which is a trailer anyways) as for the movie... eck... is it a comedy? is it supposed to be serious? I guess they tried for both and failed. Some funny bits but the serious parts just don't belong.... ah well.

Video 7
Audio 8
Movie 5

nice try FTF and not bad for a pre-release.

video was pretty grainy and is slightly blurred on the edges. for some reason the copy i had was really bright so the sunny bits really were blinding.

audio was good, slight hissing but this really was slight and can be stopped by turning the treble down.

the film doesnt do justice to the original and for what was suposedly a comedy i found i was left lacking in laughs. but what the hey, cant complain, worth the watch on a rainy day.

nice for a pre 6/6

Posted by BlueStar on 03-06-2004 02:09 PM:

Perfectly watchable release, good for a pre without a doubt.

Video is a little bright, and a little blurry, but it's encoded pretty well, none of the nasty blockyness that's plauged the last few releases I've watched. Slight angle which you only really notice when there's just text on the screen. Small amount of redness in the bottom left corner, possibly a red led or something on the camera being covered up, but again you hardly notice it unless the screen is all one colour.

Video - 7

Audio - Takes a while to settle, and when it does it's a bit hissy, mostly noticable when characters are talking on microphones, or singing. But fine for a comedy.

Audio - 6

Film: Both me and my girlfriend found it funny, it's a light hearted fun film - good ending too. On a scale of 1-10 (With 10 being Donnie Darko and 1 being Jeepers Creepers) I'd give it a 7

Rating as telesync - 7/6/7

That's rather good quality for a FTF-release. Enjoyed the movie.
